Heh--I did a little edit to correct your note. So tell us what you REALLY don't like about Valentina. The song, that is. Add a little depth!

You are making a number of assumptions here.
1. That I have bad taste. I haven't actually mentioned whether I like this album or not. In fact i haven't mentioned any of my music tastes at all - so how could you possibly come to this conclusion. For all you know, we may have exactly the same taste! 2. I'm really angry! Not at all, I just don't understand how you can take your own opinion as FACT that everyone else has to agree with and if they don't, then they have bad taste? Very strange!

"Better With Time" is a masterpiece. So heartfelt, such an extraordinary vocal. I JUST WISH the production was a bit (or kind of a lot) more subtle. I can only imagine this without the drum track, which is kinda leaden.

Everybody can just relax about Ingela's comments, which are clearly aimed at tomfoolery. Some folks on the Org will take the extra measure just to get cheap kicks on the internet--same as people on any such thread have their favorite songs on an album that they wish to express to us all. Apparently some will critique MPLSound as a fair to poor collection of music--which is is ok if they care that little for it! Just dont do this which only moves the statement to the measure of trifling. The jokester ("you have no clue how clueless you are"--Haha) is tickling our ribs. Well, definitely mine!

Its not tomfoolery. After all these years a few people step up and profess love for a truly awful album. Its all good. Like what you like. Don't get butt hurt if someone else (most everyone alive) doesn't like it. It really is that bad. I bet none of you can name a worse Prince album; because there isnt one. There isn't even another album by a major artist that has ever recorded anything worse. Its that bad. But that's not taking anything away from anyone by saying that enjoy and quit feeling belittled and insecure and calling people trolls. Remember YOURE the minority that likes such garbage. If anything you're the trolls.

Ingela will claim we're all tasteless, most of us in this web-sphere. Know not Reisling from sparkling water. Our senses are blown, we're just queer! Well I'm here to tell you, no matter. Let the rambling fly with good cheer. The jamboree stays entertaining, MPLSounds fans will stay--Here. Got a new joke, anyone?

Never seen it on anyone's top list and never will. And all those albums you mentioned are far far better than MPLSOUND. My feeling about mplsound is that after he recorded Lotus, he felt it would go over a lit of people's heads so he quickly threw something together to appease the lowest common denominator. And boy is it the lowest common denominator. Dumb as rock and way down at gutter level. My guess it's aimed no higher than the 4-9 year old demo. All the album you named have a few gems on them and aimed at at much higher musical and intellectual level.

What you propose Ingela is purely a subjective account of taste. I'm not sure how a real survey would turn out a result in terms of a "worst rated" Prince album, but once this is done and you've identified the general preferences of the artist's audience population, people will still have their own favorites to enjoy that may not align with the average taste. Not necessarily the best- or worst-rated. Like RJOrion suggests and others before him as well, your claim toward MPLSound that "most everyone alive doesn't like it" is ridiculous, realizing that most of the world population hasn't yet heard the music collection, let alone been aware of it (The Purple Army and Paisley Park will see to that, though). The on that notion offers us ever-more humour in its dogged repetition. And with that, in consideration of your extraordinary performance in this regard, I present to you a very special MPLSound award! I wish for you to have a deluxe collection of virtual confections to apply to your virtual presence. Please enjoy this Chocolate Box!

Look people enjoy what you like and don't soil your shorts. Enjoy it's all good. All three of you like something on the bottom rings of a bowl. And that's what makes the world interesting. That we are all unique. We need to celebrate diversify. Some of us are color blind and some if us are tone deaf. Diversity is a beautiful thing. Sending my love to all.

The sweet and tasty stuff settles to the bottom of the bowl, too. Certainly the color-blind artist may contribute well toward art (see http://www.npr.org/2014/1...-and-white for some insight)-- craftwork and creativity is precious in so many forms. > BTW, I should take a moment to encourage all to protect their senses--excessive volume is damaging to one's hearing and in this age of headphones use the danger is everywhere. I encourage all to take a test if you're curious to know whether your pitch perception has become damaged or you're living with a congenital condition. You could be experiencing a physical impairment without being aware, and it's a good thing to be informed (http://www.hear-it.org/Se...aring-loss). > How refreshing--I just knew some-- er, one hard-core critic here would have it inside his/her self to expand an appreciation of diversity. U're gonna c me, by such reflection.

MPLSOUND is a darn fine album. Not everything has to be a work of genius in order for it to be enjoyable. Only negative-thinking music snobs put other people's taste in music down.

By very definition, if you are a Prince fan, you are a discerning music lover. But not every song is a great song or album. Especially in his later work. But I think it's damn near impossible for a Prince fan not to see Mplsound as THE WORST ALMOST ALBUM EVER MADE. There may be worse by some obscure artist, but in as much music that I listen to, to me there is nothing that comes close to how cringeworthingly awful, amateurish and childish an album could be.

Speaking of "Prince Nuts" (no, get your mind out of the gutter) I thought I had a pretty good collection of Prince SWAG/memorabilia/paraphernalia (see image below) but this lady has me beat by like 40X's over. (see 2nd image below). Now that's what I call a Prince Collector - AMAZING!

^^^That is intense! > I noticed hanging on the wall--left side of bottom photo--a fly-swatter. I wouldn't want to use one of those in that room. You might ruin a piece of memorabilia! There needs to be some Bria Valente/Lotusflow3r/MPLSound stuff prominently stuck in there. > That's the kind of stuff that would be nice to display in a Prince museum--all the discs classic and rare, stickers, buttons, and promotional cutouts--a droofest for the collector of objects!
