I don't know why I'm on this today. I read an article about Whitney Houston and it has caused my

mind to really question this drug thing more than usual. Look at Whitney, Bobby Brown, Stevie Nicks,

Eric Clapton, Sly Stone, Amy Winehouse, Vanity, Natalie Cole, Chaka, Brittney Spears. I can go on for

days. Everyone of them had drug problems and the media was all over it for years, yet not one word

about Prince. WHY?? Even Big Chick had drug problems but stated P did not use drugs. I just cannot

wrap my head around what the media is feeding us. It is really hard to believe. The drug reports

started when the plane made that ER landing and snowballed after P's death. Nothing has been

proven to me. Mainly because anything that has been said cannot/has not be verified. Thoughts??

Here I am again: the autopsy report. That would eliminate our speculation. Maybe it would send us off into other realms, but we have no facts except that Fentanyl killed Prince and his sister said she knew for two years that the end was coming. Was he self-medicating for pain and then decided he was done and wanted to go out on his own terms? I mentioned in another thread that people around him seem too calm, the drug angle isn't even being addressed, as if they know something we don't know. And I think they do.

Well, here's the thing laurarichardson, I did read the post and decided not to comment and this is why. When someone responds (as a counterpoint) to one of your posts, I have noticed that you habitually degrade and shame them when their thoughts don't align with yours. Quite frankly, I simply wasn't in the frame of mind for that kind of mental sparring with you.

Here's some food for thought on that "other nonsense".....you have been a member of this forum for some time now and I would imagine you are aware of and know how to use the "edit reply" feature. In light of that, perhaps an edit, on either post, of "disregard double post" would have cleared up any confusion.

It does feel as if the media has an agenda, getting back at him and using his name negatively attached to drugs. He was so against drugs and being around others that were. I believe in Prince not what the media has been doing to him since his death. Just sad...he is not here to correct the lies being told.
I too want to know why they did this to him?
The family had said they are protecting his legacy by not telling us what happened. But yet they allow the media to do say negative, untrue things about his death so what are they really protecting? Who was involved?

It is called a mistake. The only confusion is someone who does not know enought to not read the same thing twice. I am not going to go back and type disregard when I think most people can figure that out on their own without written instructions.

I posted this on another thread a few days ago and just wanted to re-post and hear any thoughts...I don't know what to make of it but I found it interesting....

I came across this article from April 28th, of an interview with Prince's former audio engineer Robert “Cubby” Colby, who worked for him from 1980-1988...overall it had some good insights into what it was like to be around at that time, Engineering and Recording stories, some funny stories about Prince's sweet tooth with Payday candy bars and how Matt Fink recalled when they took the bullhorn on the airplane and how they got arrested back in the day....Cubby was at the gathering of bandmates, musicians and associates in MN the Sunday after Prince passed, and that Monday he gave this interview...I don't know if he "slipped up" or if it was a mistake, or just speculation...but he mentioned "chemo" and Prince trying to "cure" himself...its at the last few paragraphs of the interview...the interview was done in April before the test results came out in June so Cubby didn't believe the pill stuff at that time...I'm wondering if Cubby got some inside information from friends/family/ other musicians at the gathering and mentioned it, but not realizing he was giving out a clue...or it could be a general comparison of other friends he had which chemo didn't work for them, but a Vegan lifestyle did, but he didn't mean that about Prince...? Not sure what to think, and I don't know about Prince's health either way, but wanted to put the link to the article out there...It's a good and interesting read if you have a few minutes....

Chemo? We need to verify this. I'm going to call this man at work and see if I can just get a definite "NO" that it was not Warners. I'm sure he can't say if P had cancer or not but maybe he can imply something was going on so it was not Warners poison

I was a bit taken aback when CS said " We have been protecting him for 20 years". I don't know about Starr777. In a lot of those old posts folks use all caps. There is a thread about P coming to the org. In those incidents he writes as he speaks, you can tell it's probably him. So I don't now.

In reference to a few post up about the Satanic groups, I just want to say be careful not to let the evilness mess with your head. I prayed for you. With my life, reading up on this Satanic stuff might have been kinda bad for me. You know what I mean. By the way, last night my tablet started playing Way Back Home on its own. There are like at least 5 things that would have to be pushed to have made my tablet play that. I remember someone else here on the org had the same thing happen to them with that song.

.

Olivia: I appreciate that, honey. I don't buy into most of what's on the internet, but some of it makes you wonder. I am a christian and have God in my heart, so I am not easily lead by false prophets/Illuminati garbage. I am an independent thinker and am not easily swayed by what the media tells us, and I know you and Zena are the same way! biggrin

Yea, I read star7777 comment and it does kinda sound like P a little bit.

It could be him. And I read that JW don't really do funerals. Either way everyone was putting P down.

I'm positive that losing both his parents in 6 mos. was horrible for him.

“It never felt like going to work. It was always something I looked forward to. Obviously the days were long. But he took such great care of himself. You can’t do the hours that he did … there was no nonsense going on.”

PSN: He was a vegan?

“I think that had a lot to do with him becoming a Jehovah’s Witness. Then the pain and all of that … so many things are coming out; I don’t believe any of it. I think it was the result of no medication, no medicine. He was such a believer that he became a vegan to cure himself. I know close friends [and] that worked for them, when chemo didn’t. He was a really slight guy. Robbie—the guy that used to go ahead to the hotels in every city—he’d get there the day before and get the hotel rooms set up; I never knew Prince carried weights around with him. He was always very fit.

.

Wow! Very interesting article. I've never seen that one before. The comment he made about "chemo" really makes you wonder. eek

.

He said a lot of nice things about Prince and the part about the "Pay Day" candy bar.......No, that's on Friday, LMAO!! lol

Yes you're right on that. And Mancow, he has been around for years. It kinda surprised me when I

first heard things he was saying. There is also another guy on You Tube that in to numerology and

gematria. Zachary K. Hubbard. I can't say any of the things I see and read are true , but it surely is

strange.

Any relation to scientology's Hubbard?

Alex Jones and David Icke speak some truths. Amongst a lot of the farfetched stuff you'll find some interesting truths.

.

Yea, I think they are both a little too dramatic, but I think they are accurate about some things.

Thoughts??

.

I agree! Those who were close to P never said anything about P having a problem with pills. Prince didn't party and didn't live the rock n roll lifestyle, as you referenced the other artists above. Prince didn't like drugs and didn't like being around people who did drugs. He didn't even like to drink alcohol, but I have read stories where people said Prince drank wine, but he didn't have a drinking problem. He was too focused to ever be messed-up on drugs. The way I look at it, those people who say he did drugs/coke/pills, whatever....they are most likely the one's that Prince severed ties with. I dunno, but just saying.

And I think they do.

.

Perhaps Prince was ready to go and he did it his way, as he always did throughout his entire life. Now, I'm not saying he took his life on purpose; I still remain strong in my belief's that he took those illegal pills laced with Fentanyl without knowing. He was unaware.

7777 had commented that Prince didn't want his mother's funeral to turn into a big thing for the press and that's why he wasn't there. That makes sense. On another note, Prince's mom abandoned him to the point where as a youth, he went hungry . I think that's why he could go without eating as an adult because as a child he learned how to feed his hunger with music . This info was in an autobiography, not saying it's fact.
I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

Chemo? We need to verify this. I'm going to call this man at work and see if I can just get a definite "NO" that it was not Warners. I'm sure he can't say if P had cancer or not but maybe he can imply something was going on so it was not Warners poison

.

Olivia: Since you brought up Warner's, I will add this; I read somewhere where WB claims that they even paid for Prince's treatment for dependency. Now, this may all be a pile of BS, which I wouldn't be surprised if it was. It's obvious that WB and TMZ didn't like Prince. Just look how TMZ tore Prince's name to shreds and dragged him through the mud when he died. Oh yea, and let's not forget the National Enquirer, doing that reinactment of Prince dead in the elevator. Sick, sick people they are!!

.

TMZ even poked fun at Prince's death on their TV show. They were all laughing about the cremation........saying "Purple remains, Purple remains!" Really disgusting people, they are. mad
