When one is cremated, the entire body is cremated. "Don't worry about what I'm doing. Worry about why you are worried about what I am doing."

I have family members who are totally against cremation and I have other family members who are totally against burial. It's totally personal decision. If people are offended that P's family decided to cremate, that was their decision. Whether it's your personal belief or not. People's beliefs, religious choices, wants, thoughts, concerns...they are none of our business. And the people that questioned why the family was so quick to cremate. Why would they want his dead body just laying around? Yes, the 'people taking pictures' issue, but also...why do they need his body? He's dead. It's just his body. I personally see no point in letting the body hang around in a mortuary for days for no reason, if there was not going to be a viewing and/or burial. [Edited 10/15/16 5:13am] I'm not a human

Let me lighten the mood here. When we were going to scatter my mother's ashes at sea, we went out on the water, and then, as you should, we stuck our fingers up in the air to gauge where the wind was blowing. There was no wind! We opened up the container, tossed her ashes, and then a gust of wind came out of nowhere and blew part of the ashes back onto us and the boat. She would have laughed hysterically at that! So we cleaned her up and that was that. Cremation isn't a terrible thing. It isn't scary. It is an alternative.

The cremation happens quickly because the body starts to decompose quickly. Sounds like cremation was what Prince believed in himself. And that's right...it's only the physical body. We are here for such a short time vs the lifetime of our souls. Prince's soul was already pretty matured when he got here. He was an "old soul" meaning he had already worked out a lot in a previous lifetime(s). Then he matured even more while here. He will probably be born again at some point in another body of some kind. That is why it is so important that we take the opportunity while here to do spiritual work on ourselves, so we can know God and go back to him free. If you're not ready to hear that yet, life will make you ready. The choice is YOURS. Either re-live the pain or work through it. Prince is with God because he believed in God. He knew God to some extent. It's not about being "good", it's about seeking until you get close to God, and then consciousness of your belief becomes a reality.

Where did you get the information that he was not present when his son passed? Please not the article by the fired nannies?

. I'm not sure what you are referring to by saying "contradiction". There is no pain in Heaven. . Are you implying that Prince is in Hell? I hope that is not what you are saying here. Can you please clarify for us? .

. Yea, it was that article from the nannies. I had a hunch it wasn't credible anyways.

Why would someone do that to our Prince? Look at this place and the amazing people in it. I just think P deserved better than 'resting' in a tacky model for punters to gawp at.

I dont know...
Cremation seems like a more efficient way to dipose of a body
Eaten by worms or Disintegrated by FLames ???
Still its none of OUR business...but as someone said THe risk of some idiot taking a picture and cirulating it ..... too horrible to think about....

Just to think about Prince's body being burned, even if it was just a body, is too much for me to think of him in that way. I don't like that image it puts in my mind.

No, I am not saying that is were Prince's soul is at. You said when a person dies, all their pain ceases as if that is for all people that dies. And I'm saying the Bible says yes pain ceases for those that make to Heaven, but not for those that go downstairs for those that believe in The Holy Bible.

Don't have a problem with cremation. One day all these folks in that traffic jam will need to be buried and it's going to become a big problem quite rapidly.

. I know how you feel, trust me. My Mom was cremated and that was her wish. Please, don't think of the body that way, because once we pass on, our soul and spirit leaves our body. Our bodies are just "vessels" that carry us through life. Visually think of Prince leaving his body and he is now in the "light" and with God's everlasting love.

It was not a rush job the coronor releashed the body back to the family and they made preparations for the funeral. You realize that you cannot keep a body for a long period of time before it starts to decompose. Arrangements need to be made quickly.

While I agree it's none of our business, I will say it hit me like a ton of bricks when I found out he was cremated. I know it doesn't really make sense because regardless, he had already transitioned. But the thought of his body literally not existing anymore just gutted me. I think that's when "reality" hit for me. From now on, 4 U I shall be wild 💜

I can't blame him for wanting cremation if that was his choice. The thoughts of my body SLOWLY decomposing while it lays pickled in a box are just gross. For millions of years, my body was no place on this Earth, and I will have had my short time, and it the planet will survive just fine without it once again. We are all so full of here
