Steven Wilson Talks Prince

http://www.invisibleorang...-pop-gone/

I actually tweeted to Londell about Steven. Not sure if people here know who he is, but not only is he a huge Prince fan (I was at a concert of his last month and he talked about how he wanted to be Prince we he was a teen but he was a pasty White guy from England. He also said the 2nd hardest show he ever had to do was the day Prince died), but he is also a genius in his own right, making great albums as a solo artist and many other bands. He is also a renowned album remixer..... and by remix I mean he takes the original multi-tracks of classic albums and completely remixes the albums in stereo and 5.1. I'm willing to bet he'd LOVE to do Prince's catalog.

I think Steven Wilson is one of the most versatile musicians there is at the moment. I agree with you, he is a genius in his own right. I love his music with Porcupine Tree and his solo work and some side projects like Blackfield. He is also a great producer and is remixing music, like recently the Tears for Fears albums. Because of his love for music and his respect to the original recordings and love for the 80's albums of Prince it would be a great idea to have him involved in remixing some albums like Sign O the Times.
