Do you think the urn was part of Prince's detailed museum plan? We all know that Prince left a detailed plan about a museum at Paisley Park. Do you think the urn was part of it? I was disturbed when I found out how it was displayed, but then questioned if that's what he wanted?

I believe it was, even if he didnt know WHEN he would pass...He may have planned to b at the opening of tbe museum himself..I dont believe he knew when he would die or when the urn display would b a reality...What irks me most and leaves me with questions is if he was heading this way why why NO WILL...And my only answer is he planned that too. Y? So he didnt have to pick n choose who or what would b in it. He prob left a trust to those who he felt SHOULD b in a will. And left the rest a free for all "Almost all art is trying to become an anaesthetic and at the same time a healing session drawing up the magical electrics.”

bedazzled ceramic and bathroom/toilet tiles? Respectfully, hell no.
Atrium or otherwise free on the PP grounds, yes.
Swing set sprinkles.

Does this mean the family's prior urn that was carried around and displayed is still on their mantle or stuffed in their most recent lawyer's HomeDepot grade safe or what?
Weak.

I've wondered this also. . It looks like a weird doll house to me. Or something from back in the 90's when miniatures were "in" his ashes are supposed to be in that little piano? .
According to Tyka she had 1.5 years to ask him what he wanted. Hope she did. I would have envisioned something else with his great sense of style. I got that he wanted the exterior of PP to be very nondescript and commercial looking when he built it, but since the urn is already IN Paisley I would think he would have chosen perhaps a small replica guitar or piano that was over the top beautiful and classy.

No. There is an article online regarding the company who made the urn and the Paisley replica was suggested by them and the family agreed.
Be thankful Tyka didn't follow up on their suggestion of a 'Little Red Corvette' replica urn. Seriously. And some people here attacked Dr Funkenberry when he mentioned the ashes would be at Paisley over a month ago. [Edited 10/11/16 13:44pm]

I'm wondering if all the ashes are in the PP Urn or if just a portion are there? The URN sounds small... in my experience, when I received a relative's ashes after a very austere cremation they were placed in a decent sized vessel that required two hands to carry. Later I met a guy that said he was spreading his father's ashes while on travel around the world... little amounts here and there. So perhaps there's only a portion of the ashes at PP? I hope not, I hate it when people split ashes up. I think they should be scattered anyway at Paisley Park and a lovely tree planted that buds Purple every season.............That way he is still there and the flowers on the tree will come every year. I know that it is cold in MN - but surely there must be a deciduous tree that will blossom Purple? (in Australia we have jacaranda trees) Thank you Prince for every note you left behind 💜
