Nah! This lady has already been denied. She is one who can't produce a marriage license because the CIA has it (cough, cough). I can't remember where the will supposedly is...aliens, Bigfoot, in a tree with elves? She is quite disturbed. If you go back through the fillings you will find her afadavit. Bizarre!!!
. SO this is a typically American (in my eyes) 'sue whatever you can!' type of approach, even at this stage of the case? -// She is not really suing but filing the same claim over and over again. The court can put a stop to it and maybe the state could make her pay for whatever court cost she is causing maybe sue her for harassment. |

I just listened to the two Star Trib reporters in a conversation on Minnesota Public Radio. They said they don't know what is in the divorce documents, but they need to find out. Two people called in and they asked very good questions about the entire investigation and how to preserve Prince's legacy. The ST is going to be on the case until the end. |

Yay for ST!
Yes, I'm being sarcastic.
Another wait and see what they do with what they find. Proof is in the pudding as they say. It ain't what you say it's what you do.

I didn't see anything about a deposition, but there are a lot of afidavits and other stuff. Go to the Civil, Family, Probate link and do a party search for Nelson Manuela: http://pa.courts.state.mn...ault.aspx. |

Thanks! I didnt see anything about a deposition either. In the MPR interview they said there were filed depositions. They must have confused the legal jargon. Maybe they meant affidavits.
Morningstar, any time something is filed, they serve attorneys of record an email notifiying them that something has been filed. That is the Court's notice to the attorney. Thus e-service, instead of mail service. |

Maybe. I never looked at the divorce file before because I thought it was sealed. I didnt know you could see the docket and activity. In my city, sealed means you cant even see the docket. Something was going on for several years after the divorce. I didnt realize the divorce case went on so long. She filed a Motion for Temporary Relief along with Affidavits. A negative narrative can be contained in her affidavit. Who knows? I mean we know what he passed away from, how much worse can that get? |

---- What does it say about the house? The rumor going around was that he bulldozed them when she tried to get the properties in the divorce. Supposedly he packed up the remains of homes and sent them to her with note saying you want houses you got them. Don't know if this is true but when she said they had a friendly divorce I thought will the court had to have a judgement against him so friendly was it. |

Temporary relief is when one spouse asks for temporary alimony for a short time, usually 6 months - 1 year. |

I thought he bulldozed the house to avoid paying taxes. During the days of the NPG Music Club, one of the PP's (I assumed it was Prince) posted a thread about having a nice peice of property and having to pay a lot of taxes because there is a house (or something to that effect). Later we learned that the house was bulldozed. I remember NPGMC members making fun that Prince was using the website to complalin about his taxes. |

Did you notice that there was still activity up to 8/2010? Then motions were filed beginning 6/2016 with the case being reassigned 6/17/2016? I wonder if the case was ever settled at all?? Very confusing. |

The June 2016 motions were filed by the Star Tribune. |
