What concert do you wish you could have attended?

Mine would be one of the Parade Tours. He just seemed so playful and youthful at those shows. I loved a version that I saw of him and Sheila E performing Love Bazzar on Youtube. When they go into the "Wooden Leg" dance with Jerome. Loved him in that crop top and duster too. Mmmm Mmm. popcorn drool3 eye eyepop I was unfortunately only about 10 years old during those years, so I only have videos to watch from this time. popcorn I did get to see him in 2007 at the Rio in Vegas for the 3121 tour (5 months pregnant) and in 2011 at the widely publicized Feb 7th Welcome to America tour show at MSG (ON MY 35th BIRTHDAY!) (When Kim Kardashian got booted off stage).. This was an amazing show. He played all the classics, as well as new stuff, got on top of the piano, the whole nine. The 3121 show was amazing too, but it was in a very intimate setting and he was a little less playful (I was about 3 rows back from the stage), so that was awesome to see him so close, but he didnt play as much varity, which was still fine for me. I loved both concerts. Plus the 3121 I was standing/waiting for him for hours and VERY PREGNANT, so that was part of it as well. lol I feel like I kind of got a little of both worlds (a little more of an intimate and grand scale with the stadium). I really wish I could have seen him a million more times. I now wish I would have quit my job, moved to Minneapolis so that I could go to the Paisley Jams and followed him around on tour. headbang haha. Just kidding, kinda. haha cry

I was only 5 during the Purple Rain tour so that wouldve been cool to see.. but more recently somewhat, I missed the ONA tour where he had NPGMC members attend Q&A's and soundchecks before the show. I wouldve also like to attended a show at Paisley Park

His last show at Paisley Park. I had a terrible cough and didn't go because I didn't want to ruin it for everyone else. If I had it to do over again, I'd've said eff everyone else and gone anyway.

That Love Bizarre clip! I have watched it so many times, I love it biggrin I basically wish I could see any tour that I missed, esp. the ones from before my time. Parade and Lovesexy would be my top picks. Also when he did a show here last year. I couldn't go and DAMN that hurts now.

We all want the stuff that's found in our wildest dreams. . .

Lovesexy, Wembley arena, any of the nights there. My brother went, but I was just too young. I too watched it over and over again until the tape burnt out. But really I just want to see him again anywhere and I still can't deal with the fact that I can't.

I have only been able to attend on concert. Musicology tour.

I would have LOVED to see D&P - IF it had come around our area and I wasn't a so dang poor.

As an adult, the last two shows that hit Vancouver - the first one I missed because i only found out AT THE TIME IT WAS happening! disbelief No chance to make it in time. The second one I found out the day AFTER i booked nonrefundable tickets to Vegas - my luck with Prince shows is heartbreaking. broken

I would have also love to attend any of the tour warm ups, and anything at PP.

Well ANY SHOW...all of them really. sad pout

Triple Threat Tour.

Prince at the peak of his "Minneapolis Sound" electronic funk power, plus the original lineup of The Time, and Zapp & Roger too? It does not get any funkier than that!

I was born in 1986. I never had a chance to see him live and I regret it. I had a couple of chances. I remember in 2002, he played in Seattle. I was in high school then, which is when I started to have an interest in Prince. One of my teachers was a HUGE Prince fan and she went. My HS track and field coach also went to the concert.

--

I'm really kicking myself now that I never saw him live. Thank goodness I can watch many of his live performances over and over again on video!

I SO wished I had seen the Purple Rain tour. Had I seen that tour, I would have been "set for life" as far as his tours go. PR was the peak of his career. I am so glad I didn't see his last one (Piano and Mike tour). I wouldn't want that memory of him ingrained in my brain. Would have been too damn haunting. Especially remembering how he was in his hey day. sad

If we keep it realistic, meaning concerts that I could have gone to but didn't, then it would be the Sign O' the Times and Lovesexy tours (wasn't really that much into Prince and/or going to concerts yet) and The 3rdEyeGirl conerts. I missed them in Paradiso in 2013 because I had no money and when I did, I went to South America and that's how I missed them in Ziggodome the next year. confused And yes, the Piano & Microphone tour, providing tix wouldn't have been too expensive...
