If we keep it realistic, meaning concerts that I could have gone to but didn't, then it would be the Sign O' the Times and Lovesexy tours (wasn't really that much into Prince and/or going to concerts yet), the aftershow in Tivoli, Utrecht in 1998 and The 3rdEyeGirl conerts. I missed them in Paradiso in 2013 because I had no money and when I did, I went to South America and that's how I missed them in Ziggodome the next year. confused And yes, the Piano & Microphone tour, providing tix wouldn't have been too expensive...

Purple Rain, SOTT (UK tour was cancelled) Paisley Park - the filming of SOTT for the video. Piano & Mic tour the Oakland one. Montreux both tours

Would you let me wash your hair?

Caught the PR tour, but yes, any show prior. SOTT didn't even come to the States and we watched the movie on the big screen. Defintely that tour. The Undertaker @ PP; Cafe de Paris in '98; the 20 minute Stevie Wonder set he played for the two dudes who put the Musicology tour together; a 3rd eye girl show - any of 'em.

And all of the rest razz.

Either Montreux 2009, Montreux 2013 or a Piano & Microphone show.
Something recent.
It doesn't have to do with my being older; it has to do with my wanting to know who someone becomes.

I don't get why people keep complaining about the price of a ticket for the P&M tour? It was well worth every cent wherever you sat, and it's the equivalent of 80 packets of cigarettes. What about funding?

One of the 2014 3EG shows. Like Paris or Birmingham.

Like in retrospect, I would legitmately consider taking out loans to see that penultimate Atlanta one. That's how I soothe my post-Prince concert guilt, I didn't see Elephants and Flowers live.

Mine would be one of the Parade Tours. He just seemed so playful and youthful at those shows. I loved a version that I saw of him and Sheila E performing Love Bazzar on Youtube. When they go into the "Wooden Leg" dance with Jerome. Loved him in that crop top and duster too. Mmmm Mmm. popcorn drool3 eye eyepop I was unfortunately only about 10 years old during those years, so I only have videos to watch from this time. popcorn I did get to see him in 2007 at the Rio in Vegas for the 3121 tour (5 months pregnant) and in 2011 at the widely publicized Feb 7th Welcome to America tour show at MSG (ON MY 35th BIRTHDAY!) (When Kim Kardashian got booted off stage).. This was an amazing show. He played all the classics, as well as new stuff, got on top of the piano, the whole nine. The 3121 show was amazing too, but it was in a very intimate setting and he was a little less playful (I was about 3 rows back from the stage), so that was awesome to see him so close, but he didnt play as much varity, which was still fine for me. I loved both concerts. Plus the 3121 I was standing/waiting for him for hours and VERY PREGNANT, so that was part of it as well. lol I feel like I kind of got a little of both worlds (a little more of an intimate and grand scale with the stadium). I really wish I could have seen him a million more times. I now wish I would have quit my job, moved to Minneapolis so that I could go to the Paisley Jams and followed him around on tour. headbang haha. Just kidding, kinda. haha cry

That Love Bizarre clip! I have watched it so many times, I love it biggrin I basically wish I could see any tour that I missed, esp. the ones from before my time. Parade and Lovesexy would be my top picks. Also when he did a show here last year. I couldn't go and DAMN that hurts now.

I know. Wish I could have seen them all! And yes the of course the PR tour for sure and Musicology. And Wasn't it Rave that he performed Motherless Child? One of my favorite performances. And P & M would be have been so intimate. Coachella was amazing too. I go back to wishing I would have just seen them all. Lol I don't think there was one that was bad. And to see him at PP for sure. In his own home. Doesn't get better than that.

Well Mrs. Bemused Prince face avatar, I have just been in talks with the tapers section people to help me release my recording of the first show at the Sydney State Theatre, with their superior post-processing skills and hopefully without any cuts from beginning to end; another way to listen to one show. So how do you like them apples? cool

The Lovesexy Tour probably tours from the Prince era (if that's a thing) before he got big.

I really enjoyed the intimacy of all the Indigo Atershows I went to in 2007, the music was simply mind-blowing, but would have loved to experience an outdoor venue like Hop Farm. To be in a natural setting and enjoy Prince at the same time must have been a unique experience. I would have also loved to go to one of his earlier Revolution era concerts but I was too young at the time.

I was born in 1984. So fantasy gig would be a Lovesexy tour show. But realistically I wish I was paying more attention at the time and gone to one of the Hammersmith Apollo shows for the One Nite Alone tour. Missed out big time there!

As I am in Australia - I wished I saw Diamonds & Pearls tour and Musicology -

was lucky to see the W2 Australia tour twice (Brisbane) and the P&M Tour at the SOH so I feel pretty lucky .........

in my dreams I would have loved to have seen the Purple Rain tour - but I was not into Prince then, but wish I was............

Thank you Prince for every note you left behind 💜

Any Parade show.... any SOTT-show... and more specific, the two 2004 Fillmore Shows, a couple of 3121 Vegas shows, and well... to be completist, maybe a Purple Rain show...

Sign 'O the Times, Lovesexy (because I loved everything about his look and sound then)

Purple Rain (because that was the height of his stardom)

Musicology (he seemed really happy and mature during this time)

Piano and a Microphone (for obvious reasons)

The Detroit birthday concert 1986 even though I was in my mom's belly and she went so technically i was there.

A D&P show because I have a crush on that era Prince lol

Detroit Musicology show

Lastly, the Atlanta Piano and Mic show

Maybe Prince is responsible for your existence? smile

ETA: If I could time travel, I'd have loved to see that one. Some of the videos from that one eek faint falloff
