More to the point, are any of these claimants extremely petite? There's a strong genetic component to Prince's shortness and frame(daddy was short, mom was short, don't know about the rest of his family).

A child might not look like his father, though. And sometimes people look just alike and they're not related at all. I can't figure out where that photo came from, though, so I don't trust that it's even the guy they are referring to.

I hope that if he has any children he knew about them, and it sounds like he might have if the family gave two names. It doesn't change the devastation of losing his infant son--there's no getting over that--but how sad if he had children he didn't know about when he clearly wanted them so badly at one point.

True. What I do notice is that people kind of morph into different versions of their relatives at different stages of their lives. My cousin's child resembled my aunt as a baby and now she resembles her mother.

Hilariously, if I went anywhere my mother was known, people would automatically volunteer, "You must be PurpleMommy's daughter!" It was very annoying. Nobody really thinks I look like my dad unless they only know him and not my mother.

Look for photos of Prince or known relatives at the same age and compare. All that stage makeup might throw people off. :/ I don't think Estabon Cinnabon looks like a makeupless Prince at any age or any of his relatives.

Yeah, I have a cousin who has been, at different times in her life, the spitting image of each of her 5 sisters, who all have vastly different looks. I doubt this Estabon person is Prince's child, especially since he is not one of those that was named by the family (if that is true...I mean.. I have only heard it mentioned in one interview with one journalist). I'm convinced that there were some Prince look-a-likes out there who passed themselves off as the Purpe One to get these women to sleep with them.

That said, any child of Prince could favor their mother or her side of the family. I have a friend who's son -- to this day as an adult -- looks like no one in his immediate or extended family...except for his maternal grandfather a little bit when he was young...and there are hardly any photos of his grandfather to speak of. People are going only on memory of what the man looked like. So, if you were looking for this young man to resemble his father, my friend's husband, or anyone on that side of the family, you'd be convinced he wasn't related at all. And Prince's family is complicated genetically, given all the half siblings who might resemble the side that Prince is not related to. I do think Prince and Tyka favor each other, especially as Prince aged and when he didn't have so much make-up on. I guess we'll find out sooner or later if any of these claims are real!

laurarichardson, Good job on your part recognizing the photo. I have never heard of Amandla Stenberg until now. She actually has a bit of resemblance to Mayte in terms of her face shape and eyes. At least I see the resemblance when I look at pictures.

Here's Prince standing next to his dad, who looks a good head taller than Prince (if P took his hells off). Of course, that might make John L about 5'9" or 5'10"...but that's not extremely short. Duane (apparently John's son from another woman) was over six feet tall.

It's Mom who was tiny. Her children were much smaller than John L's from other women.
