The man should have the test on his own by a certified lab. Then he will know for certain he isn't related to Prince and can let that go. These all make for interesting stories, but with all the beauties that were part of Prince's every day life, it is tough to think he'd go outside his circle for companionship. Those people were strangers to him and he had fixed processes for communicating with other people. Even other celebs.

More likely some look-a-like was playing and the girl "thought" she'd met up with Prince. Same with the woman in Missouri whose son is in prison. Players pretending to be Prince and the women buying the stories.

There's no way to do it "on his own," as the only way to gain access to Prince's DNA is through this court.

I am very surprised Estabon's Objections was not sealed.

Estabon is saying he is not certain he is Prince's son but wants to have DNA testing completed immediately so that if he isnt his son it will save all parties further legal expense.

Bremer Trust is saying, sorry, not sorry, you were adopted and you have a legal mother and father, and this precludes DNA testing. Estabon argues that he was adopted and did not have a say in his adoption, and Prince did not waive his parental rights upon his adoption. Estabon is stating due to adoption laws he does not have access to his adoption records, and his original birth certificate.

Apparently, Estabon recently established contact with his mother and her family, and this is how he learned Prince may be his father. A business associate of Prince's (who could that be?) verified Prince's affair with Estabon's mother in 1984. Prior to Prince's passing this business associate offered to set up a meeting between Prince and Estabon but Estabon feared rejection and needed additonal time. Unfortunately, Prince passed before the meeting.

Regardless, how the Judge rules on whether Estabon can participate in DNA testing, I am sure one of the parties of the Estate will appeal.

He has offered to pay for the testing himself..I dont understand why they are denying him.....The Adoption is no reason...In fact it kind of strengthens his case IMO...gives a good reason as to why he was hesitatant to meet wth Prince. He would already be very vulnerable...its a known fact the adoptees struggle with rejection Issues for their entire lives..

There are other photos of him on his Facebook page but I dont know how to post photos here. It doesnt make sense that his sister? (I've read elsewhere it is a boy fraternal twin) did not file a claim. Maybe she/he did file a claim and it is sealed and we dont know about it. His attorneys do not refer to his twin in their Objections.

Let him have his DNA test. Once it comes back as a "no you are not related" that should shut him up.

That is what Estabon's attorneys are saying, let him take the DNA test and stop further litigation if need be. So I dont think he is a player. This story would not have gotten out had the records been sealed as previously ordered by the Court for all potential heirs.

--- When was Prince in Buffalo in 83 or 84? You can use past tour information, movie contract/paycheck/ recording logs/ pictures/ and people who interacted with him 83-84 time period was very productive time for Prince it is easy to establish his where abouts and that is the reason he got rejected.

Estabon's attorneys established in the Heir Claim Prince was in New Jersey and surrounding area during that time. They are arguing Bremer Trust did not investigate his claim any further after finding out Estabon was adopted.

I agree! How hard is that? I understand not wanting to demean Prince's memory with details of his private, probably promiscuous, "love life". But the deadline for claims has been reached. It's over. Let those who have gone to the trouble of making a claim see it through so there will not be lingering questions until the end of time. Whether it has any bearing on Prince's estate is almost beside the point. The boy has a right to know. Everyone one of us just wants to know who we are and where we came from. Shame on the mother for not being able to answer his questions btw.
It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

I dont see anything wrong with letting him have a DNA test especially if he made a claim before the cut off date, but with that being said he looks nothing like Prince to me lol and I didnt want to go there but its obvious from Prince's history that he couldnt have children. So...with that being said they can give him a test but it'll be negative lol

Oh that's right. The courts have Prince's DNA...They control access to it. If this man was going to meet Prince, why did he wait so long to file a claim? He had to be following the story. Was his biological mother going to come with him to PP?

No one has confirmed he has a twin sister. I saw something written elsewhere that Estabon had a fraternal twin brother. But who knows?

His mom didn didnt put Estabon up for adoption. She fell into drugs and he was put in foster care. The Courts allowed his foster family to adopt him.

He just recently reconnected with his mother and mother's family. This is how he found out.

I dont think he is looking for his 15 minutes of fame. He didnt go to the media. The only way we found out is that his attorney's objections to the response of Bremer Trust denying his request to take DNA was mistakenly put on the Clerk of Courts website. It should have been sealed pursuant to the Judge's prior order for all heir paternity claims to be sealed.

He merely wants to find out if he is or isnt Prince's son.

well obviously something in his claim wasnt valid and they denied it....I said he should be allowed to have a test, but I dont believe for one second that he is Prince's child.

.
Bremer Trust petitioned the court to have all claimants pay for their own DNA tests.

I see nothing that has changed. It'd be ridiculous for the estate to have to pay; that would mean thousands more want free DNA tests for their own purposes and fake claims.

Nothing is stopping Bennermon or anyone else from having their own DNA test performed and then submitting it to the court (via lawsuit, if needed).

But if Bennermon has truly been legally adopted, that removes any claim against his real parentage.

Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

I didn't know about Troy and didn't know if it was confirmed about Mani. I kinda thought Mayte might have been the one. Didn't she also have another miscarriage after her marriage, I remember reading it was due to a genetic malformation of the baby.
