Yeah, I saw Kara's explanation about the Narcan shot and that was news to me too. Didn't know hospitals/doctors did that.

Just wanted to apologize for the part of this post saying "LMAO" because when I read it back to myself it sounded as if I was making light of P's death, and that was NOT! my intention. I had about six browsers open on my computer and was going from one to the other, doing so many things I misread Kara's post. Sometimes when your typing online and people can't see your face or hear your tone of voice, the impression they get can come off wrong. So again, I apologize if I offended anyone.

I'm pretty certain that this image on the Emancipation Cassette is a pregnant Mayte - she is wearing her engagement / wedding ring that Mayte subsequently put up for auction (although I think she did withdraw it before it sold):

. That is how she made it appear. But the reality depends on how much of his life mr Prince shared with Judith while she was living at the Park. I am not saying she is lying but that there is some room for her to be hiding stuff. .
. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

. I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

There is a blog (I'll try to find it) that explained how many people couldn't get the medical professionals to take the withdrawal symptoms seriously so they were sharing all the ways they used to manage the horrible illness they experienced getting off their meds!!!
One thing sticks in my mind - several people said they descreased their dosage by only one or two of the little particles inside a capsule each day for however long it took to completely stop the meds!!!! If I had it to do over, that is how I would quit that prescription but by the time I found the info, I had already gone cold turkey. If I can dig up the forum that I was following, I would be happy to send it to you in an Orgnote. Serotonin symdrome is a bitch.

. We keep saying that these days, medical responders are so used to overdoses that they know one when they see one. They lift the eyelid and by looking at the pupil - and by other signs, they know an overdose when they see one. Then they act. Save shot.

Peace and love The medical profession has always been dangerously and gravely decades behind needs - with many illnesses. Doctors are educated and see thins in a certain way which leaves them short-sighted and therefore progress is incredibly slow. They are physical, literal, tangible, proof-needing humans who can't see the big picture - and this leaves them pridefully unwilling to be open-minded to what patients are TELLINGLY them is going on, and what those patients actual needs are. Doctors think in a black and white world, and that prevents them from even CONSIDERING what a person with actual EXPERIENCE is telling them is going on. This goes for not only medical doctors but for psychiatrists. Every therapist I've ever worked with is a million times crazier than me. Patients of all kinds drop into oblivion every day because of this, and deep down inside, doctors do not want to lose their positions by admitting they don't have all the answers. Always trust God before any human - I don't care how many degrees from Harvard they have.

There is truth in this. I think not all doctors are black and white...I've found some good ones. But I almost died because I just didn't get on their flowchart about ulcers, and then they gave me a prescription dosage of ibuprofen and the ulcer blew. Long story short, I ended up septic and in kidney failure and spent 5 weeks in the hospital (3 in ICU).
I did have an allergist who caught on that my experience with allergents did not match what he was telling me. We talked about it at length and came to an understanding about my treatment that made us both comfortable. That was so nice.
Listening and open-mindedness should go both ways, but so often it doesn't.
