Do you remember.... In the Lovesexy tour MPLS, MN 1988. Prince played Bob George about half way through the concert while acting the storyline out. Bob gets shot by the police and then he gets raised all the way to the top of the arena while reciting The Lord's Prayer. When he's done reciting it the floor lowers and Bob is gone.
God, that was a great moment! I'll never forget it... "So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

That concert was great...when Prince rode up to the stage in his daddy's T- Bird...too smooth. I got the video a while back ..definitely worth checkin out if you get a chance. Love God and I shall 4ever Love u | |

The Lovesexy show from Dortmund was broadcasted in Germany (in full) in 1988. I still have my self-recorded tape and must have watched it a million times.
A DVD rerelease ... will we ever see it ? I don't think so ... | |
