I've been looking all over the net for a picture of bowie and prince together ( they must have met one time or another) to put on my wall... This is even better, can't put it on the wall but man this is an awesome memento for my two biggest heroes! Thx for posting! It was not in vain...it was in Minneapolis! | |

Being a huge Bowie fan also, it was the best of both world's that night when he started singing Heroes. Little did I know what lay ahead a week later! I've watched that song repeatedly since Prince passed! Now the light fades out and I wonder what I'm doing in a room like this

I found this track on YouTube and did some equalizing & mastering to make Prince's voice more audible.
Let's hope more tracks of his 'Piano & A Microphone' tour will see the light of day. | |

You know, it's strange. There were many times when Prince spoke out against doing covers, especially when it cames to covers of his own music.
However, I LOVED when he would cover other people's music.
And for him to do a Bowie classic like this, just amazing.

He definitely doesn't sound like a person who's about to expire! Quite the opposite, he sounds full of life and totally on point. It's totally crazy that he would be dead in a week. It's like the Twilight Zone. | |

Wasn't Prince quoted at a P&M show, shortly after Bowie's death, that they never met but he heard he was a nice person? | |

Close but not quite, he said that he only met him once but he was really nice to him, and that it seemed liked he was nice to everyone. Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...
