I´m not familiar with Dick Gregory as a comedian or his later work as some sort of political commentator or conspiracy theorist but while watching this video I did not find him very likeable at all. He keeps saying stuff without saying anything, and his constant "Huh, huh? " got on my nerves real quick, just like him expecting the interviewer to know the answers or "secrets" already.

-

And how he stressed that he does not know any entertainers or athletes, and that he´s never met Prince.

I´m actually a bit sad that Prince believed in this guy so much .

Mr.Gregory sounds very rude and impolite, too. What´s with the constant use of the n-word and "motherfucker"? Is that really necessary?

Agree"... Dick Greggory seems like a hateful bitter negative person.
I do think he gets his info from info wars and natural news what he is saying does have some truth (remove his hateful language) it is very possible our current govt is involved. Prince was exposing what many think to be conspiracy theory's and did point out he was not happy with the current president and what was going on in America today. My own personal beliefs....I found what Prince was saying to be true he was a very smart man.

Notice the White House didn't light up purple on his passing and I find that very suspect. He claimed to be a fan, people all over the globe went purple and the WH did not. What was that about? No purple bulbs?
Surprise, surprise.
Another treat. Another trick.

I agree with you. While some folks have theories that could pan out, or at least provoke people to think differently (ie Building 7), it seems ol' Dick purposely finds the 180º answer and spouts it just for the sake of doing so. I wonder if he thinks if he keeps saying stupid shit like this, that one time he'll be right, and he can say "I TOLD YOU SO!". I'd still like to know who 'they' are, and why 'they' are getting away with so much shit, and why no one has stopped 'them'.

.

Frankly Alicia Keys is the same way. Honestly - she does that inner "uh huh" chuckle to herself, as if she's in on some hugely wonderful and secret joke that no one else is ever going to be smart enough to understand. But thank Jesus and baby Jesus that she knows. (Look at her at the RnRHOF induction or wherever she was w/ Andre 3000.)

.

One of P's biggest hiccups in life was finding something that appealed to him, and just going balls to the wall with it, yet he usually only did it for a short time. It was all very ADHD in some regard (not saying he had ADHD, obviously he could focus and work diligently without distraction). Whether it was chem trails, or the whole Lovesexy period, or finding "the truth" in the early aughts - it's like little pop up fascinations, then it dies off. I cringe when he was on Tavis' show last time and talked about chem trails. I actually fully agree with Prince on voting, and politics, but his Dick inspired "talks" were embarrassing.

.

Dick has become a caricature of a caricature.

I think he seemed to be ADHD with stuff simply because he never stopped reading and researching and was pretty open to changing his views if something clicked different with him. People diss that quality and call them flip floppers but I think it shows deep intelligence. It's quietly admitting you don't know shit and are open to new experience. That was why Prince was brilliant. I'm sad he went when he did cuz it sounded like he learned all he wanted from the JWs and was moving on. Maybe the THEY are the JWs.
Surprise, surprise.
Another treat. Another trick.

People don't be so quick to call Dick Gregory out as bs. This whole Prince death is super fishy. Now, Mr. Gregory may seem likes he rambling, but if you read between the lines it may be a lot of truth to what he is saying. If Prince was still performing and riding his bike (even the night before) and seen by a doctor the day before (which we just learned), then wtf. So, this story is still developing and unfolding. Now as Prince's fans, we know good health and exercise were very important to him. So, it may or may not have happened the way Mr. Gregory stated but we should all be able to agree that PRINCE'S DEATH is SUSPECT (if we are to believe the stories floating around the media, which don't even sound proper).

Side note: Why does the front page of the April 21, 2016 ( cry) Washington Post have a picture of the BRITISH Royal Family on the front announcing the 90th Birthday of Queen Elizabeth. This is the USA, she's not a monarch here. Yet, the side stories that could have been headlined next to their picture are (1) Harriet Tubman will be the new face on the $20 bill; and (2) Supreme Court allowing AMERICAN victims of terrorism to collect compensation from seized Iranian assets. These are worthy headlining stories. WTF

What blows my mind is how some people actually take this crazy, bitter, old man seriously..
I just laugh at his nonsense

I think you have all this backwards.

Prince riding a bike a day after he almost died isn't a sign that the Illuminati or Warren Buffet killed a healthy man, but a sign that Prince didn't take every step to heal himself when he got sick.

This Gregory guy is a crank. Cranks, by the way, end up analysing the pictures on dollar bills when running a conspiracy theory.

And no, we should NOT all agree his death was suspect. No one who matters has suggested so at this stage. And the unconfirmed narrative some media outlets are running with is tragic, but seems all too believable.

Does the British Royal family get too much press coverage? Yeah. So does Kim Kardashian. And Donald Trump. But a birthday + coverage + potentially purple-ish clothing does not = the Illuminati killed Prince.

I'm amazed anyone can give this crap the time of day.

All I ask of folks is to read up on Dick Gregory before you pass judgement on him. The results may surprise you. Besides, I know of one famous person that believed in what Dick Gregory had to say.....his name was Prince. #TheWar

Prince believed all kinds of things (including chemtrails). That fact that Prince believed something is not an indication that it should be taken seriously.

I do believe Prince's death is suspect. I don't believe the Illuminati or Warren Buffet killed him. But I do believe that his death was because he was seeking help too late. I believe he followed the orders of a physician that were improper. MJ was under the care of physician/specialist and died. So its not impossible for this to happen.

Hilarious! You don't know where that image comes from, and maybe you don't get irony.

very true...People can sit on here and call Dick Greogory old and senile, but he has spoken some truths in his life and he does make u think that something is definitely suspect around Prince's death.

I don't have a lot of experience with Dick Gregory and would not be interested in studying him further since his language is so off-putting (especially for an elder) that he's very difficult to hear.
I'm not into conspiracy theories, either.
There might be some truth to some things he says, but spiritually speaking, the proof is usuAlly in the pudding.

Conspiracy theories are the new opium for the masses. People are always looking for an angle to help them cope with difficult situations - and social media helps spread the BS far and wide.

There is not a shred of real evidence to back up anything Dick Gregory said on this matter - or many others.

As for chemtrails?? are you telling me that dangerous chemicals distributed in the sky could be targeted at specific areas and peoples?? beyond ludicrous.

I loved prince's music deeply but if he believed any of this, then perhaps we shouldn't be looking to music geniuses for eductional guidance.

Belief without evidence is fantasy.

I have respect for Dick as a legendary comedian, involvement in civil rights and a pioneering nutritionist, but these later years in his life are tough to watch and hear.
