Have you been listening to a Prince song that feels/sounds different from before?
I was listening to Lotus Flow3r today & 'Back 2 the Lotus' 2.55 mins in (full blast in earphones) really comforted me for some strange reason & I was not expecting it. Couldn't stop listening to it. Cannot hear all Prince says in it, but the noise just felt unreal & like I was listening to his last guitar moments.
Also the words in 4ever...

I am actually finding comfort in that song too. The combination of Affirmation 3 and this track must feel strangely comforting.

i love the song so much that I was looking for sheet music for it, with all this recent upsurge, it'll probably come out now. It's one of his best to me. Most of what we saw from Prince was camoflauge, we rarely got peeks at the real soul behind it all, for me, when he let that show is when he was absolutely devastating.

I have a story behind Purple Rain, when I was a junior in HS one of our students died, shaken by the death of a peer, I heard Purple Rain on the radio and just could never get associating that with the morbid feeling I had then. Thus, I never really went out of my way to hear it, now, after P's death, when i hear the song it damn near brings me to tears in public, oddly, i requested it from a band, exactly a week before P died, it was great, the next week they did it again and demolished the club.
