With every listening, I like Phase 2 just less and less = 2/10,

Boring and very "conservative" music, middle on the road....

the edgy & "revolutionary" Prince sure happened a loooong time ago.

2 out of 10 = only 2 good songs... Revelation + Groovy Potential.... otherwise I am completely bored:

is so much better:

8 out of 10 = I like all the Phase 1 songs (except "Million $ Show"), X's Face, 1000 Hugs & Kisses, June, Ain't About 2 Stop, This Could Be Us. HardRockLover.. all these are amazing songs imo.


2/10 makes Phase 2 the worst Prince album since Kamasutra imo.

It is a really good album, but you would not know from all the haterz. In the old days the org was objective and intelligent, but now its ruined with the trolls who hate everything, start joke threads about Prince in drag or having anal sex and it is just less pleasurable than it was in the old days (Late 2000s)

LOL No it's just we so similar in tastes but diverge big time on a couple items, which just makes me question what MY problem is with those

It's an OK album. In real world terms, compared to the rest of the music landscape I stick with a 3. Comparing Prince records to Prince records, it's more memorable than most of his independent releases. I don't like the way it's produced, more than anything else. A lot of the tracks sound like vault material, edited, and re-imagined with unnecessary bright horn stabs. We know this is true of Extraloveable for sure, but I suspect most of the album is this way. I'm thinking we would prefer the original vault tracks these songs are based on, but of course we will not get those in this life.

by the time this thin is released on CD ...i wont want to listen to it anymore......ruining the listening experince......not to mention hearing 6 tracks a long time ago.....long for the days of at best hearing a single tor 2 and getting new CD when released
