Anyone else wonder if Prince is going to release a new self-produced album any time soon? HITNRUN collected all his recent Josh-produced tracks, meaning the tracks Prince has produced for himself are still uncollected. 'Stare', 'Baltimore' and 'FREE URSELF' all sound like Prince productions (unless Josh has far more range than we've been led to believe). So does this mean they'll soon find a home on a new, Josh-less album?

It's worth remembering those youtube videos a while back that advertised a #NEWFUNK (or something similar) album from Prince and included a link to Baltimore on iTunes in the description, had STARE playing in the background AND featured the FREE URSELF artwork. So the 3 songs are linked!

i think HitNRun phase 2 will be more of a Prince album, although i don't think it'll have Baltimore, i hope it has 2Y2D, that would be brilliant

I have nothing to back this up, but I have a hunch that the title of the next album won't be HITNRUN Phase 2, but rather ALBUM NAME Phase 2, so if Free Urself is real/is released, it might be Free Urself Phase 2.

Either way, I do hope we get another album soon.
