Regardless of Prince meaning or intentions of the song, I know The Song Title is perfect for something going in my Life, so Hallelujah, "SHUT THIS DOWN"!!!

This would be a good concert opener. As a song theres not much to it. Just prince being boastful again. I think this would have been a much better opener for the album than million dollar show. Its like having 2 album openers.

i can live without it, but still better than that horrible song aint about to stop.

I think it's similar to when David Letterman Said after Liv Warfield's performance that she shut down show business (or something like that)

It means it's so good that u might as well shut it down cause no one else could compare after that...

After listening to this song a few times, I really like it. It's got an aggressive, hard vibe to it. Kind of reminds me of "My Name is Prince".

Another bass song with an aggressive vocal delivery. If Josh creating the beats means Prince can just go off and play bass freer than normal then it's a good thing.

The beat does get a bit repetitious towards the end, but it stops before it gets annoying. It doesn't really have much to say but I think it was more a case that Prince just plugged his bass in and messsed around for a bit then put all the lyrics around that.

Have no idea what the ending monologue is supposed to be about other than some sort of studio in joke.

Originally I did not like this song much, but the shit is growing on me. It has the bombastic feel and usual "I'm so great, because I am Prince feel" but the song is quite cool. Love the Morris Day style pimp voice at the end -"Sit yo a.. down, can't u see grown folks are workin" "I didn't ask you ANYTHING" 6.5/10

If this song was from a brand new act, they'd say it's a hot new track.

And it is --by the way I don't believe one second that this was mostly Josh's work, it definitely has a tight Prince blueprint.

It is a real club banger. Too bad no clubs will play it. I want to hear it in a club full of thots.

At my first listening of the album,I played this three times before I got to the next song it lives up to the title and then some!
