Actually pics from the Lovesexy tourbook shows him with this same pencil thin mustache. The hat is also the same one used on the tourbook front/back covers. I have an 8X10 of the photo and I'll check it to see if it has any photographer/date info on it.

U R right

It looks like like a line of hair from the bottom of his nose to the top center lip, and then a line on either side of the mouth, but not a moustache. All the place I seen the black n white are connected to the Herb Ritts photos

This is a thin around the lip stach, very different from the one in the black n white
