The Prince box-set (What if?) What if, there was a Prince box set done like Bob Marley's Songs of Freedom set? I would limit it to 8 discs between 1977-1992, and include live cuts, alternate versions, outtakes, B-sides and hits. Observing the songs of freedom set I found out that it uses versions and live cuts that aren't widely known like those used in the greatest hits compilation Legend. What would you do?
EXAMPLES: 1982 Saginaw live version of Head 1984 Birthday live version of Erotic City use the 1981 Columbia live version of Controversy Include 12" mixes use alternate mixes (Diamonds & Pearls solo vocal, or even the original mix of Cream) 1984 White Girls Jam [Edited 8/10/15 12:54pm] until then i'll pretend this fuchsia light is god...

I would say 1978-1996 because the perfect box set should include the classic Come-Gold Experience era. And that NPG configuration was one of his best bands he had Oh and there were a few good songs on Emancipation. ”The people that will end up defining ‘Hate Speech Laws’ are the very people you don’t want to define the Hate Speech Laws” — Jordan B Peterson

Yes! And imagine a DVD video box set similar to the Beatles 8 DVD set telling the story of Princes entire career (so far) and times. The Beatles even ran on TV
