Exactly. Nona's vocals were the least interesting thing about the original outtake. The best parts are the chorus and the rhythm guitar. So, maybe it'll be an improvement. I just listened to it again for the first time in years, and I think it has a really nice, classic R&B feel to it. I think it will sound great for summer as well.

I'm a little confused. Didn't she say in the BBC interview that they heard the songs on the new album because Josh was DJ'ing and played them for the crowd. That kind of implies to me they (3EG) were'nt involved AT ALL (otherwise obviously they would have heard the tracks while they recorded them). Am I mistaken on reading that? If so, pretty safe to assume P and only P will be featured on lead vocals. Right?

Hannah's point was, it was just as much a surprise to them as us the #PurpleCollective/Army.

Eye ALWAYS prefered ONEMANBAND . He is more experimental that way. Now with Joshua as his RIGHTHANDMAN. He can lay the tracks down even faster. He trust Josh to keep them safely in his purple databank to unveil @ a moments notice. He's a #HARDROCKLOVER..

Ok, just checked the tag on the iTunes single for "HARDROCKLOVER", and it's listed only as "Prince". Don't see "3rdEyeGirl" listed anywhere on the single itself...

"The band said the first they heard of the record when Joshua Welton was DJing at the aftershow party for Prince's White House concert in Washington DC in June.

"We had a big party, it was awesome, Stevie Wonder was there. We were all just dancing and Joshua was DJing and he just started playing all these super funky songs and one of those was Hardrocklover," said guitarist Grantis."

Again, seems to imply that "HARDROCKLOVER" was one of the new songs they first heard that night, thus had no involvement in its creation.

Disagree. I believe it's fairly obvious based on the interview that the band isn't involved in this project. It's a PRINCE record...

I love Art Official Age, Lotusflower, 3121, and probably most Prince albums you hate.

2nd - The Beatles were great, but I've never bought one of their records, cd's, DL's, anything. Their music does very little for me.

Not everything of course but enough to at least weigh in with SOMETHING positive from time to time. Bart's like the Rush Limbaugh of the org. You know what he's gonna say before he says it, you know that anything bad that happened anywhere will be tied to whatever it is he hates and you can't stand the guy but somehow he gets a lot of attention. It's really sad... Obviously Bart is/was a hardcore fan of Prince, with the knowledge he obtained, many of his posts refer to the old books of Alex Hang and Per Nilsen, books... So u can see he deff had an interested in not only Prince's music but also his history...

Why he trolls every single discussion of Prince with a negative attitude I don't know... Could be he has nothing else to do in his little apartment in Europe, listening to his vinyls and checking Prince.org from time to time.
