does anyone else ever have it where they like a song so much the first couple of times they hear it and then it becomes annoying? beginning endlessly sounded like one of the most amazing prince song the first couple of times i heard and now its just annoying

Okay, good point about that song. Some days I love it and others not so much. It kind of reminds me of when Seinfeld had that girlfriend who looked better under different light. I'm sure this analogy makes no sense though.

agreed. I'm so disappointed that some of the best songs over the past couple of years have not been properly released on an album

As far as I know, the only snippet we've heard was from the Lovesex-That's-My-Jam party (just a few seconds at the mixing board).

Just heard the Revelation snippet. Damn. Damn, damn, damn- soooo good. PLEASE let this be on the album.

They have played Revelation at Paisley Park parties a couple of times. The second time was a night they were playing and half way through the song, Prince and the band started playing along live with the recorded track and eventually took it over. It is a really mellow song. The sax sounds great on it.

Shades of Umber is on the soundboard boot from the second Montreux show in 2013. I don't think I've heard it anyplace other than that. It's an instrumental, or at least it was played that way. Someone that went to the show said Prince wasn't on stage when it was played.

Big City is on the soundboard boots from the first and second Montreux shows in 2013. There is also a snippet of it on New Power Generation Soundcloud still.

Noboby thinks the "new album" could be a new "chocolate/silicon" collection of previous more or less released digital audio file, from love affair to baltimore (with some unreleased)?

Being that we're already in Summer, I'm wondering when exactly this new music is supposed to drop. AOA wasn't great, but at least it was consistent and not awful. It seemed like he was trying this time. So, hopefully, it's an indication of better things to come. Hope springs eternal.
