Prince would probably hate this comparison (lol) but in many ways,Graffiti Bridge is alot like Xanadu, that 1980 musical fantasy film starring Olivia Newton John In that film,Olivia plays a "muse",which is similiar to the angel that Ingrid Chavez plays in GB.Both movies center around a nightclub.Xanadu is basically a long-form music video without a plot,as is GB.And both movies were box office duds.
GREAT comparison!
I saw XANADU when it first came out in theatres and thought what a shite (embarrassing) movie, but what a fantastic soundtrack!
Very similar thoughts with GB, but having Prince and The Time in it, made it a LOT cooler, but just as embarrassing.
