Why "Sign o the Times" is Prince's best Arguably-
1. It has his funkiest song (Housequake) 2. It has his best song about God (The Cross) 3. It has his best ballads (Adore/If I was your Girlfriend) 4. It has a great live performance (Beautiful Night) 5. It has some of his best rock songs (Never take the Place/U Got the Look) 6. It has Prince's most accute and profound commentary about the world (Sign of the Times) 7. It has the "F" word 8. Dorothy Parker 9. Instead of videos it was showcase in his best movie (yes the movie is better than Purple Rain-because besides Appolonia's boobs what do you watch the movie for? The concert footage) 10. It flows perfectly "New Power slide...." |
