Good it's nice to see that Prince collaborate with other artists, it gives him some publicity and it will be fun to hear the song Welcome 2 The Dawn

Rihanna is one very lucky and pretty lady. Imagine being picked by Prince to sing his music. WOW 2Gether 4Ever

Ok, first off. Does anyone know the track title? Second. Is she dating Dicaprio? What happened to wife beater and when did it happened to him? [Edited 2/23/15 13:23pm]

I haven't heard the song, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if the track was bad and Rhianna wanted it anyway just because Prince's name is attatched. Prince could write a song for almost anybody and they would include it on the album, just because he is a legend. It's surprising that no music came out of the Beyonce/Prince friendship a few years ago. Hopefully it's a good song though and the beginning of better things for Prince.

Rihanna's handlers have money. Prince probably has an extreme over abundance of unreleased music. Why would he turn the opportunity down to get more of it out there? As usual your comments aren't very logical. Change it one more time..

Could be fun, especially if there's a video and she Princes her outfits.
As for the music, it's not going to be groundbreaking that's for sure.

I hope it's a big hit for her. However, going off of past collaborations, it's less than a 50 percent chance to be a hit. For having such great songs, Prince sure does avoid hits recently.
Will it be a "Manic Monday" success, or another "Love Song"?
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I don't see how this is "selling out' in any way, shape or form. He was writing and giving away songs to other pop acts even during his 80s peak. How is doing it now any different? Seriously it's the same exact thing. . If Rihanna was somehow featured on one of Prince's albums, then THAT I would say was a sellout on Prince's part. I thought the same thing with all the guest stars on Rave - it was contrived, and some of them were so far buried in the mix it was hardly even worth it.

gave Rita Ora a HOT track, that still hasn't been released yet. He was very excited about it to. He even previewed it, at his highly, anticipated, A.O.A/P.E. release party.
Maybe with Rihanna's no nonsense attitude, she will demand not to do anything, unless 's hot track, becomes the first single...Maybe it's the same one he gave Rita! will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

One would hope that Rihanna would get the song and do her thing with it . . . too often with Prince's songs, the singer tries to imitate how Prince would sing it instead of putting their own spin on it. An obvious exception to this was Sinead O'Connor. She put her stamp on it and nailed it. . I will say this though: Rihanna's songs all tend to sound alike in terms of production, so in that sense alone it will sound modern on the charts. It will most likely not be a pre-recorded Prince song with Rihanna vocals.

I wonder if he'll perform on it at all (even just an instrumental part) and get a featured credit? Thanks to a bit of simple guitar work on "FourFiveSeconds" Paul McCartney is credited as a featured performer and now has his first top ten solo hit since 1986. Rihanna seems interested in having legends featured and credited on her singles. . Prince may finally snag that 20th top ten pop hit after all...

ROFL No. D puts out a killer album that's getting more critical acclaim than the past 20 years of Prince releases combined AND is in the middle of a tour that smokes the fuck outta 3EG. No way JW sits this one out. It's got to be a JW beat with Prince lyrics, bass and guitar. They are joined at the hip. They are Tricky and Christopher running through chicks on the Riviera, only it's pop starlets and tracks. Seriously, I think Prince is determined to get JW some credibility. This could be good.

Then why don't U ALL do me a favor? Start a D'angelo.org, ACCOUNT and CLOSE ALL your accounts here NOW? will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! I think it's a good idea for Prince to write songs for "hot",young artists. It means that his songs will actually be heard by the mainstream. He should send some songs to Bruno Mars, too. Many of these artists are huge fans of his and would never turn down a new song from him.

The blurb only mentions that Prince wrote the song. It'll be interesting to find out who produced the song if Prince didn't produce it-Joshua Welton or someone an A&R from Def Jam commissioned to produce the track. [Edited 2/23/15 19:48pm] 3121 #1 THIS YEAR

Rihanna can't sing a lick without the aid of AUTO-tunes. Why Prince would choose to give her a song is beyond comprehension.

We don't know how much input the kid had on AOA, I don't want to pin that crappy production on him without the inside scoop. I love that Prince helps young talent. As bad as the production on AOA is, Prince is ultimately responsible for it. And honestly it sounds so stale, old, cobwebby and tired that I can't see how a young person could be completely responsible for that. And I still think Prince is losing his hearing for AOA to sound so thin and tinny and still think it's ok to send it out the door. [Edited 2/23/15 21:26pm]
