I look forward to this, but expectations set to low, not so much as to whether this will be a performance or merely a presenter appearance, but more about whether this really signals any sort of Purple Rain remaster marketing campaign.

That would be my first choice but failing that another new Prince album for 2015 would be fine with me too.

A Prince and Madonna duet would be ridiculous. I already feel embarrassed for Madonna and she hasn't even performed yet. I'd rather he get up there and sing Let It Go, and not the one from Come.

Would we rather see him and 3EG over him and Madonna? Hell yes! (but I'd rather hear AOA material than PE, unless they did Anotherlove but we've already seen that)

Prince and Ed Sheran on stage? A guitar each. Or a Prince/AC/DC mashup "Lets Go Crazy" with "Back In Black" kind of thing.

They'd be my "dream" collaborations. But having said that there is more than one Prince fan performing - he could jump in with multiple bands/artists. He's not nominated for anything, what better way to steal the night.

Pharell said recently that if he could work with anyone in the industry he'd want to work with P. Maybe P decided to take him up on that?
I don't see him doing anything with Maroon 5 as he was less than impressed with their cover of "Kiss".
He's worked and performed with Gwen (in concert) already..

I just can't imagine Prince doing anything actually cool, anymore. I can't imagine him doing anything entertaining. I'm not trying to be a dick. I just really can't picture anything awesome coming from him at this point. There is no way he can do a Revolution reunion, after the detailed criticisms he made last year in Essence magazine, accusing them of being an inferior band. Once he destroyed that band's reputation by publicly saying they weren't good enough to play with him anymore, that dream was over. I don't know what he's doing, but I doubt it's a Revolution reunion.
