If there is gonna be a Revolution reunion at the Grammys,I think they shouldn't do the predictable "Let's Go Crazy/Purple Rain/Baby I'm A Star" medley.Surprise everyone by coming out and doing a kickass version of "Computer Blue"! then launch into "When Doves Cry" and finally,"Take Me With U" with a special guest....

That's asking too much, but I will settle for the "Purple Rain Live" version of "I Would Die For You"/"Take Me With U". Oh and of course the whole throwback "Purple Rain" era look.

I just can't imagine Prince doing anything actually cool, anymore. I can't imagine him doing anything entertaining. I'm not trying to be a dick. I just really can't picture anything awesome coming from him at this point. There is no way he can do a Revolution reunion, after the detailed criticisms he made last year in Essence magazine, accusing them of being an inferior band. Once he destroyed that band's reputation by publicly saying they weren't good enough to play with him anymore, that dream was over. I don't know what he's doing, but I doubt it's a Revolution reunion.

The only thing that could reach "really, really special" is a Revolution set~

As much as Prince impresses tho, he always disappoints too. This SHOULD happen, so it won't

Thank you!!! His track record is saying one thing and not following through. And I agree, the only thing "really, really special", is a revolution reunion. Lately his "amazing" promises haven't been that amazing! Like the time there was a lot of hoo-ra surrounding him on Good Morning America to announce the album and all we got was a nervous Hannah & co, standing out in the snow telling us they were going to release the album and tour. Tour never happened did it?

Highly unlikely, unless to give an award to semebody else razz . He's not even nominated. If he dares to show up, he will promote nothing else but PLECTRUM ELECTRUM with his horrible wig.

He will never be a good seller again as long as he's wearing this wig.

I have a feeling he'll perform at least one new song to promote AOA and end it with a classic Prince song. Since "This could be us" is the new single I see him doing this one with The Revolution.. Another possibily is a Revolution/3rdeyegirl performance. He could perform different songs with different bands if he gets enough time

We'll have to wait and see but I'm sure he'll perform something off his last 2 albums

Do you seriously believe that :

1. he will perform with the Revolution and

2. he will perform THIS COULD BE US ?

It's completely silly

Eye don't know why this Revolution mess keeps popping up. prince already gave an innerview about it. He is NOT going back. LIVE WITH IT PEOPLE!!!!

prince is so gifted and has survived over 30 years without them. They were only a stage band & that's it....

My spidey senses are telling me there will be a surprise collaboration with Prince and Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars. "Uptown Funk" mash-up anyone?

I can't see Prince swallowing his pride and playing second banana to Prince wannabes.

I can't see that either (although I would love to hear a Morris Day version).

They're hardly Prince wannabes though. Mars has had a string of hit songs. Ronson is the only reason anyone knows who Amy Winehouse is.

You're right - it would be so special to see them reunited
for the Grammys - 30 years later and Prince and the
Revolution can still rock it.!!

Bruno Mars is not a Prince wannabe. The song is actually pretty good. Prince should like the fact that o t hers appreciate and show homage to the Minneapolis sound. It would be cool to see a colaboration with the originator ...bring along The Time for an even funkier vibe.

Just keep 3rd Eye Girl home, please. One of the most uninteresting bands he has assembled in terms of stage presence and charisma.

I think he is wink

We should expect to see Prince perform on the grammys with his current band...i liked the SNL performance, so 3rdeyegirl is still ok for me...

A revolution reunion is not likely, but would be great...

I think it is a good sign, that both warner and Prince are in some ways working together and still promoting the new albums...

Prince already has the buzz going before he even shows up. Don't get me wrong. I am looking forward to seeing all the other acts. Should be a fun night. But in typical Prince fashion he has got some hype going on. No one knows what he is going to do. He might present, He might perform. No one knows what he is gong to perform if he does. Who cares what he does? I don't. The one I know for sure is that the crowd is going to get the loudest when he shows up and the energy in the place is going to pay homage to rock royalty. For me that's good enough.
