I've just heard the sample of Moonbeam Levels from this set.

It's excellent sound quality far superior to any prevoius circulating version.

Can't wait to get the full song. Amazing, truly amazing. I've waited years for this and it's almost here, almost.

I heard it few days ago too....happy to know that it was not my imagination & confirmation... my ears are in perfect order !

Well, sort of. It fades out completely. Then it plays silent for a few seconds afterwards, accounting for the longer play time. However, it does fade out well and it can all be heard. The difference in sound quality before would not allow you to hear the outro/fade very well, but now you can.

There's a few extra drum beats at the beginning too

Neon Telephone is a different version.

It has a phone ringing on it and a little shoo shoo woo.
I 'm loving it and the sound is A+.

Pure psychedelic pop.

Splash is also a little different, not sure which version of it a prefer.

You say that but it has that NPG 93 - 95 sound to it, it must have had some work done to it

Oooh, I've heard the new Moonbeam Levels now. It is indeed a bit longer with the introduction, and the quality is way better than what we've previously had, although probably still not quite pristine imo. Song's never been hugely to my taste, but I'm sure lots of you guys are going to love this. Still, from what we've heard so far this easily has the potential to be the most exciting bootleg release for a while, can't wait for the whole thing.

neon telephone. i think you correct i did feel i notice extra sounds added than the version on the work . i was not 100 % sure when i reponded if it was just that it was clearer without doing a check. Whatever it is a better version..

Electric chair is just instrumental mix.

I think people are gonna enjoy the stuff on here, i just was not sure what as been released or not as eye label tend to get stuff that is already out there.

Someone was kind enough to allow me to hear Moonbeam Levels, and while this is the best sound quality we have EVER had for this track "perfect" it is not. It's extremely "tinny", bright and full of sibilance. BUT, with that said it still is great to have it in better sound quality than before.

This is indeed the best version in circulation until now...Intro longer than previous ones before...a lot of effects that i was not able to hear before & background vocals more upfront & listenable too available !!

One of the very best trax anymore that Prince has ever written!!! cool

The orger who says that "real" Prince fans are more thankful to free labels than to Eye makes a really dumb statement. I'm more thankful to Eye, and I'm certainly as "real" a fan as him. Apart from being a real fan, I'm also respectful of other tastes and preferences, which he isn't. Free labels don't press CDs, so I choose Eye and will continue buying their stuff.

---

All these orgers saying "real Prince fans are like this or are like that" are simply embarrasing themselves. "Real" Prince fans are diverse, thankfully, and I'm glad I'm a real fan who are not like those who have the cliched phrase "real fan" always in their mouth.

[Edited 10/31/14 7:11am]

Alright! Relax....

Sorry for twisting your panties.

How 'bout this:

Other than those who don't know how to find, download, and burn (if they need an actual disc), and/or those who can afford to dump loads of cash on something the rest of us get for free, and/or those that are unaware when labels like Eye press the work of of labels like FBG and pass it off as their own.... all the other "real" Prince fans other than those I just mentioned, know that FBG and other free fan labels deserve our thanks and respect more than Eye and other profit labels.

Feel better now?

wink

One last thing: Real Prince fans don't need validation from other real Prince fans to know that they are real Prince fans...

lol lol lol

No, Eye still feel very sad.

It is tinny had to adjust treble and bass. I like Splash(early version) and Neon Telephone(early version) those are out there now making rounds.

MooNbeam levels is still a great improvement.

I wonder how 100 mph sounds. Hopefully again it's an improvement.

I really like this version of Neon Telephone.
