I agree!! I really don't like 3rd Eye Girl simply because the bans is restrcited from playing funk arrangements(No horns,keyboards or rhythm section.) Being A Prince fan & lover of the Minneapolis sound since '78 Funk & R&B is what made me fall in love with the sound. When he plays live now all we get is the rock side. BRing back the funk!!!!

That horn player was fantastic as well. As for Blackwell, well... (I quite liked the two 'well's )

The keyboard player in NPGQ is Xavier. When Prince tours with 3RDEYEGIRL, I'm sure the keyboard player will probably be Joshua Welton and maybe Cassandra.

He will at best play songs from PE. He can't perform songs from NPGQ with only the 3RDEG.

The announce of the show clearly stated it was for the anniversary of Purple Rain. Maybe the announce of the reedition will be made here.

Okay, this is Prince...He will be able to perform PRETZELBODYLOGIC to promote PR deluxe. if HE SCREw this thing up again, I don't think the reedition will be an important release for WB anymore.
