I have just heard the snippets so far but standout tracks are Wow, Anotherlove, Marz, tictactoe and whitecaps and Plectrum Electrum. Quite like pretzel.. and fix... but have a slight issue with the shouty chorus, otherwise they are great. Growers are stopthistrain, funknroll, ainturninaround...
Love the overall vibe and sound of the album and can't wait to listen to it in its entirety

I'm looking forward to hearing this. Not heard the snippets but if I stumble over the whole thing at some point before Monday I will definitely give it a listen She Believed in Fairytales and Princes, He Believed the voices coming from his stereo

WOW has been one of my favorite songs since the first time I heard it. Now in top quality, wow! BOYTROUBLE is hella fonky, don't know who is singing though. Some mad, What's My Name-ish bass. Funny female jibberish throughout the song. AINTTURNINROUND is like an Alanis Morissette song; it's great, ripping guitar in the end. ANOTHERLOVE... wow! Like Affirmation III on AOA, this is the one that really gives me chills down my spine and I can't suppress a tear. It's just, wow. TICTACTOE has sounds of dolphins in the beginning, a nice hawaian guitar, and layered vocals. I loooove this track, like I love songs like Silly Game, Wasted Kisses, etc. This one is much 'fuller' sounding, though. MARZ fun, Rude Boy kinda jam FUNKNROLL we already know, nice ending to a splendid album.
Overall conclusion, I still think Prince & WB couldn't have done a better job than this: 2 very distinct albums, yet cohesive on their own. PLEC is the kind of album that I, as a fan of LotusFlower, TRC, would hope he would make, but AOA is the album I can see myself really digging into the next period and loving more. AOA is the album that marks a next step in his career and opens up perspectives.

Not liking this as much as AOA. Funknroll makes it worth the price of admission though, really pleased to have this in good quaility finally. Funny how it's my least favourite AOA track, (oh shit, nearly forgot Breakfast Can Wait!), and my favourite PE track. Love that little swing outtro which wasn't on the previous leak, made me chuckle.
Need a few more listens but this was the album I have been looking forward to for so long but it's just not right somehow. I love Wow, Pretzelbodylogic, Fixurlifeup and Funknroll. Marz and Anotherlove are ok I think. Rockin Prince is normally my favourite.

So far I only love 2 of the tracks: Prince 4Ever.

yeah, i agree. very impressed with AOA not so much with this so far, not what I was expecting at all.
Might grow on me. Hate the vocals on a couple of the tracks. Avril lavigne like. "My God it's full of Stars"

Im finding it quite hard to transition between this and AOA. I dont think it would be fair to pass judgement on it just yet as I need to get over the goodness of AOA first. May let this one brew for a while before coming back to it. Its all too much at once!

I know what you mean, they are definitely 2 very different collections! I think the problem I have with this is that I'd heard all but 2 of the good tracks many times already and then rest is not really my cup of tea. The highs are really high though. RIP

Avril Lavigne..? I have forgot all about her.. Prince 4Ever.

I can't tell you how much I would love the PretzelBodyLogic remix to emerge through official channels. (It was played over the PA at the Hit n Run gigs). Whilst I love the original the remix is even better and omits the beginning sequences, simply spitting out the phrase throughout the track. Just wish it would be released for download, the music having already been made.

I would have chosen to listen to AOA before PE, but even though I started the AOA download first, it came slow, this one came fast, so... - Don't care for Hannah's lead vox, but I already knew that - Mastered way too loud and compressed, but I already suspected that Other than "why no Screwdriver", I think I'm digging everything else alright. I'll keep spinning this and looking forward to buying it on Tuesday. [Edited 9/25/14 8:20am] Don't hate your neighbors. Hate the media that tells you to hate your neighbors.

Liking this quite a lot. Now, if I could have my Prince on vocals all the way through (even on Boy Touble) I'd be even happier. Quick question: is the second half of Plectrumelectrum the exact same audio as we heard in that short video that was available some time back? To me it sounds like it, which would mean that video was the actual recording of the song, something I don't think we've witnessed before!

Yeah i noticed that too, as I made an Mp3 of it at the time and have listened to it a lot. "My God it's full of Stars"
