Yeah i kinda like this one as well. Hannahs vocals are very soothing and relaxing. Great contrast 2 the solo album. I think im looking 4ward 2 plectrum more than the solo album.

It's a nice song, but I can't help but feel it would have been better with a Prince vocal.

Nice track! It's nice to hear real songwriting after listening to U KNOW. Hannah sounds pretty decent as well. Certainly much better than Live Out Loud. It would be nice to hear an all Prince version of this, but now I'm not as worried about Hannah doing so much lead on the record.

the beginning sounds just like the way 3rdeyegirl played when we're dancing close and slow last year live. anyway, it's not that bad. i would prefer prince on vocals tho

turned it off on the second listen. if it was prince on vocals it would be ok for me.

but what the hell? i buy prince albums for prince. if i want to hear someone else

sing, there are hundreds of cool artists to choose from.

at least with a protege album, like superconductor, you know what you're in for

and that's ok. it's a nice surprise is you hear prince turn up on backing vocals

for a song or 2.

/

but this weird hybrid album just makes me focus on the fact that it could have

been better if prince were singing.

OK listened to it again. Sounds too much like Bria Valente NOT feeling it at all and I like most of the 3EG trackes released. I guess this will be a track I skip on PE

We already knew this was going to be Hanna on vox and now we've heard it

Nice groove and she sounds nice but its just as I imagined just so-so

The guitar is very cool whoever that is wink

I guess it's probably true that Prince is not on lead vocals anymore for TICTACTOE either then?

A great shame. I'd like to pretend this won't diminish my enjoyment of the album but it definitely will, and I love all the recent stuff.

lol the org is funny. we knew for at least a year that Prince wasn't singing lead on every song AND that this has been promoted as a full band effort. yes, like everybody else i wish it was P on lead vocals but the song is still good regardless.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I would be listening to music like this if I didn't know Prince was involved. I suppose it will work differently in the context of the entire album.

I think I prefer the early, sketchier sound associated with this project ("Screwdriver" wasn't his best song ever, but at least it had the attitude).

Yeah. This is shaping up to be more of a side project. My enthusiasm has been diminishing day by day for the past year. Especially after hearing the production choices on FULU & PBL.

Oh well. We'll get about 6-7 rock tracks with Prince vocals that we can mix in to AOA. Plus the 10 or so other songs that have been released in the last 2 years that didn't make it to an album.

I like the song biggrin. biggrin. Not much potential as a single, but I think it's a very worthy and solid album track. I'm pretty impressed with Hannah's vox on this song. I was a bit iffy when i heard Live Out Loud, but after hearing this I'm actually quite interested to see how the songs with Hannah's lead vocals turn out.

Honestly, I think Prince made the right decision letting Hannah sing this one. For some reason I can't imagine Prince singing a song like this. I think Hannah's vocals add an element to the song that I just don't think Prince could pull off. Just my tuppence.

Definitely looking forward to PLEC more than AOA, if I'm honest...

Great sounds and harmonies, well recorded, very intimate and lush.

I'm looking forward to both albums even more now.

I really like this song! Hannah's not the strongest singer but not the worst we've heard from P's camp. I agree though that when it's a protege album a la superconductor you know what to expect. This seems more like Hannah and 2eyedgirl than Prince and 3rdeyegirl. Prince should be on lead and Hannah backing up. Overall, I like it though!
