So the incredible part is: it's 2014 and I just ordered two Prince CDs on a WARNER BROTHERS web site.

The credible part is: it's not a smooth ride. No 15% discount, orders on "pending". The way I read the latter part, btw, is that they need to clear my (bona fide) credit card...

Yes thanks , but i tryed that, it still has no preorder for the 2 albums. Maybe not on amazon yet to preorder.

in itunes, each of the 2 albums has track times for about 4 songs, and not for the others,

this makes me think that those other songs that have track times on there will be put on

itunes as the other 'singles' a day or two before the release of the albums.

Excited for the albums. I think I'll probably enjoy the 3EG album a little more than the solo Prince album, but I think Clouds sounds pretty good.. It took me a few listens to warm to it though. For those that mentioned FIL2N I just played it back to back with Clouds and I think it would have been a great fit, but we don't know what the sound is of the rest of the album, so maybe it woudn't fit with everything else there. I think it makes sense that Groovy Potential not be included on the AOA album too because its a lot more organic and NPG sounding than what AOA seems to be about.

Whoever they got to do the PLEC cover should have been hired to do the AOA cover as well. I almost get the impression that his album covers are some kind of inside joke that only he knows about. 99% of his album covers after Come are like amature hour on photoshop.

Really looking forward to picking up these 2 cds when they drop in to a store. I've invested a lot in my hi-fi over the years (as well as the studio), so physical media is the only way to go for me

Thanks for the link. I'd rather he teamed up with Tony M. on a solo project (Goldnigga 2, perhaps). Still, as you say, we may be pleasantly surprised by the end result.
