Guys. This is Prince's OFFICIAL youtube channel. I know we have the rule about YouTube etc. But for Christ's sake, it's his official verified channel.

And no, don't lock this. We need to have a discussion about this.

If Prince didn't want us sharing his official YouTube videos, he would not have made an official YouTube account and bothered to get it verified.

I get that the org has to be very very careful... but requiring the Prince camp to specifically "reach out" to the org to give "permission" to post a link to his official YouTube channel ... I mean, that's just stupidity at its greatest. Let's do some critical thinking here, people.

That doesn't make any sense. The logical assumption is that official uploads are there to be shared. If it weren't - why would he bother? He's gonna assume that the fansites will share it. And I guarantee the other fansites will be doing so. We post links to the official 3rd Eye Girl twitter page on here all the time. We don't need him to tell us it's OK for that, so why YouTube? As Ben and everyone else knows, his previous issue with YouTube sharing was because random stuff was getting uploaded by random people in various poor quality, with unreleased and unauthorised stuff being shared. Having an official YouTube channel is Prince taking control of that situation. He wants us to share from there, but nowhere else. It is absolute madness to not be allowed to post OFFICIAL content. And Prince isn't gonna randomly email Ben to say it's cool, unless he logs on and reads this (if so, hey Prince, release Cosmic Day plz, thanks man) - so we're just gonna be stuck in limbo.

Until then....... we cannot post youtube vid links, period. If we could we would but we can't. It's frustrating I know. But until the org gets contacted by the purple camp with a seal of approval, the rules still stand.

If he wanted the advertising on here we would of been contacted. Drfunkenberry has the purple seal of approval to post vids and pics and other 'approved' materials, he is his mouth piece. The org is not nor was chosen to be a mouth piece for Prince.

The first upload is the full Arsenio show, minus the adverts, in HD. That's very generous of Prince to do that for his international fans, only a few hours after it aired.

It was really cool of Prince to upload this. As someone who doesn't have cable, satellite or an antenna, I rely on DVDs and the internet as my sources for things to watch. As of this morning I couldn't find this show legally or illegally until he posted it. So, THANKS PRINCE!!
