it was released monday 17th of march, it should have charted on sunday but it wasnt in the top 200. if it wasnt in the top 200 in the uk after a week of being top 80 on the itunes chart, it doesn't have chance in hell now its fallen off every download chart in the uk...

why would it do well? it has had very little promotion. no tv. no video. no real radioplay.

it's an ok song, maybe if a younger artist released it, it may of done better?

i hope this makes prince finally stop chasing charts and just release music to the people who want to hear it and make his money touring.

Thoughts on charts:

1) Day 9 of the campaign (still early as a few of you have pointed out) and the song seems to have frozen momentum on the US pop charts. Billboard numbers come out tomorrow (unless someone knows how to get them today) so curious to see if or where the song charts.

2) Looks like getting more Urban AC adds than Pop adds at the moment; Urban AC is not a age-phobic as Top 40/Mainstream

3) Off the Itunes Worldwide Top 300 for now

4) Hanging around in the 200s on US Amazon. By contrast, Pretzelbodylogic is ranked 5364.

It is currently at #55 in the Top 40/Mainstream format with 264 spins, with an increase of 138 spins.

It is currently at #32 in the Urban AC format with 128 spins, with an increase of 92 spins.

It increased spins in Top 40/Rhythmic with 105 spins, Urban with 113 spins, and Adult Contemporary with 11 spins.

Additionally, found a surprised when I reviewed the reports this morning. PretzelBodyLogic increased 57 spins in the Top 40/Rhythmic format.

He believes everything he makes is perfect and a smash hit.

He is surrounded by 'yes' men. There is no-one there to say Prince this is shit. If they do, he would simply say, 'its art, some people like it others dont'

As i have previous said though, he needs to stop tryin to sound hip and sounding like he is 20. You would have thought with stuff like, 'THE TRUTH' 'ONE NIGHT ALONE (solo piano etc) would have paved a mature way forward but he is so desperate for a hit it is looking a bit pathetic.

The point is he just needs to get some inspiration and i hoping this stuff you 3rdeyegirl is going to be good. At the moment some of sounds a bit cartoony so i am hoping i am proved wrong. Never happened before but maybe their is a first time.

Also i do know what i am talking about, i am deeply into music and know what i am talking about. I am trying to understand where he has gone or going wrong. 20ten is an embarrassment for example.
