It is official. It was done by producer John Luongo at Prince's request, from the original multitracks. There's even some Prince vocal parts in there that don't appear in the album version. Think it was John who brought it BDK, but regardless, it's an official remix.

This is great! I love this one much better than the "Batmix" that was realeased. This and the "Vicky Vale Mix" would have been a great duo.
