Internet - Princes approach. It has taken me a while to figure it out but i totally get Princes problem with the internet. Not the internet but things like social networking.
The worlds problems really do stem from things like Facebook and the like. I know prince has now started to use Twitter but he is using it carefully. And is in full control again of his image and what is being said. Which is right. Facebook allows people to sell themselves out. Tell people everything about you. Who is really interested in everyone elses life? I dont have facebook and i never will.
What bores me the most is that people live their lives by it. First thing in the morning they are on it. Last thing at night. They go out with a group of friends and they are on it. The only people who read status updates are the people who have written them. No-one is interested in anyone else who has 'just eaten a mars bar.. yum!' Or whatever. It is basically like eastenders (UK SOAP OPERA). people go on it as it is like an addiction, they have to know what is going on in other peoples lives and have to know the next part of the story. Why are people so interested in other people? I believe facebook and what it stands for is what i wrong with this world. I think Prince gets that. He knows that people are craving this kind of thing and believing that we should all sell our selves out. A bit of dignity is what we need and giving people a little and making them want to know me showing intrigue.
Just my thoughts. | |

FB is the devils workshop that's why I deleted my account about two years ago. People don't need to know that much about other folks lives. I was really surprised that Prince or his people even mess with Twitter, but I guess that's a Sign o The Times

It is that whole thing about friend lists on there too.
How many are actually your friends? That you see on a regular occassion? How many are people from school or years back that over the years you have done your best to avoid them and now for some reason they are you friend because you may have spoken to them once at a party?
I am tired of people talking about facebook, talking about who said what and why. Also people hide behind it. They say things and have opinion on things they never would in person. They mask themselves. They also take selfies (another thing i hate) and only put the ones where they look good on. A picture is a capture of that moment in time. Why manipulate it to be who you are not!
I has suprised me that Prince has resorted to Twitter but i do think he is using it to serve him rather then letting him be a slave to the site. He is only using it carefully i feel.

Didn't wanna be bothered with there ass in high school so definitely not on facebook now what Prince needs to do is really talk to his fans here on the org

If everyone did something small like that, society would get on better. People would stop hiding who they are and being something they are not. I never lie. If it upsets someone so what. THe truth is always better then a lie

I disagree. I find facebook a very useful tool to inform myself outside of the mainstream media. 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Trust me you are very blinkered to its power. Why dont you just go and see your mates rather then post crap on there. That infact hardly anyone reads, how many times can you write, 'mmmm peanut butter on toast... yum!' or something? Who cares. People argue on there. People post all there pics on there, and no-one looks at them only the person who posted them really cares.
i go on holiday and see people spending there whole time on there. What a boring life. I am free without it. I agree with Prince it is pointless. I will never ever ever go on it. Ever. I am not a sheep and will never follow the crowd.
