Very nice Prince-ly touches, vocals and production. Does anyone have a list of 2000-onwards songs featuring Prince? It make for a interesting sideways glance for some of his studio work e.g. Common's Star 69 etc.

Yes! That's it. Or "The Case of the Stolen Snare". Uploaded by Madison Dubé on Vimeo. Listened to it just now. It's not the same, but similar. The wooh is on the one!

We Were Rock n Roll borrows some nice thematic similarities with Prince's Rock and Roll Love Affair and Andy Allo's If I Was King, not musically, but a touch lyrically for one to wonder. It is probably coincidence but it appears to also be track 7 on the album. Either way, it's a stone cold little jam.

I like "We Were Rock & Roll" a lot, too. Though, so far "Givin' Them What You Love" is my favorite.

Ah, that is exactly the kind of list I was looking to find (minus the live performances, as I was interested in his studio work solely), so THANK YOU timmie...
Thus, there is Prince performing in songs by Common, No Doubt, Stevie Wonder, Rhonda S., George Clinton, Larry Graham and Graham Central Station, Andy Allo and Janelle Monae. Did the Maceo tracks actually specifically feature new work from Prince or just sample his old work? Also, were there any other songs/artists?

On first listen, from the very first sounds heard, I loved this song! The voices and the guitar especially, but I really like everything about it. - Caught me right away!

I already love QUEEN but I really like this song too. I'll check out the rest of the album.

PRIMETIME definitely sounds single-worthy. I had never heard of Miguel prior to this performance and it is quite alright. The song itself has top 40 all over it. Still, my cut is We Were Like Rock N Roll (is that a sample from Across 110th St laced from the beginning and throughout it)? Whatever. It's HOT. It would be my choice for single.

Awesome!
99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Did they pull the track? Now when I try to play it, the player skips ahead to "QUEEN."
