As for the hair, hair doesn't age anyone. Time does. There is class ad grace in accepting time and age, instead of fighting it and looking ridiculous. Liberace never looked cool.

------- True. Keep it natural just cut it down some. He is starting to look like Angel Davis the 1968 version. The truth of the matter is for year his perms were a little raggedy so I am not sure why he thinks he can manage a Afro-Blow Out. He looks good for his age and the hair makes him look less girly which is good for someone in their 50s.

The only saving grace in this picture is that they used a tiny bit of restraint and didn't utterly photoshop this picture to death.

There's a reason he doesn't smile in posed photos. It's the same reason you don't see other people over 50 giving big, toothy grins. Smiling creates bags under the eyes and wrinkles - which make the retouching more difficult.

I also love the "let me hold onto my collar like I'm in a damn catalog" pose.

Hadn't really thought about the no smiling thing, but it's true. It's where you see the extent of the photoshopping. He smiles in concert photos. He's caught smiling in candid photos and the wrinkles are there.

My hubby is 51, has wrinkles and is fine as hell. Prince is to. Wrinkles are fine, until they're YOUR wrinkles, so I get it, but PRINCE IS FINE WITHOUT ALL THE PHOTOSHOPPING. (Read that as heavy emphasis...not yelling. )
