Have Any of the 3rdEyeGirl Singles Charted? Do you guys know if any of the 3rdeyegir singles charted?
He's done pretty public performances of several of the 'singles',
and the promotion this time around is pretty hyped for Prince.
Sure, the songs are boring, but that doesn't really make
or break a hit. Cheyrl Crowe made a career out of boring
ass songs. |

I agree the Prince songs are boring.
But... Sheryl Crow made really great music in the mid 1990's.

I'm actually really hoping 3rdeyegirl DOES take off, it's his most "mainsteamable" band since the D&P-era NPG, IMO.
Hopefully Prince does not get distracted by something bright and shiny before that has a chance to happen.

Apparently there is no release date because every time Prince writes a new song, he thinks it should be on it, so can't ever set his bucket down on a song list.
My advice would be to forget about "Plectrum Electrum", enjoy whatever songs Prince puts out there, and then if that album is ever released, it will be a pleasant surprise.
