Check out the pics from the Arts and Music fest concert last weekend. He looks the same in those pics and they were taken by fans.

Only bothering to entertain this because the idea that the picture is not photoshopped is RIDICULOUS. * * First, look at the new picture and notice not only the change in color directly under his eyes, look at the change in the pixeling. That is not make-up, that is photoshopping. * * Second, look at the picture below. Sexy as hell. * Now look at his eye. Around the corner of his eye and the top of his cheekbone. Wrinkles at age 50 plus?...God forbid.
God forbid a black man deciding to wear his natural hair texture.
The audacity of these entitled cocky caucasians (and their non-white enablers) commenting on black reality as if they own it...but then, 'twas ever thus.

I really like this pic. Yes, it has been retouched (telltale smudges), but it's not as glaring as the V pics. Fact is, dude looks great for 55, retouched or not. * After all the various Prince hairdos, I can't believe people are getting their knickers in a twist about an afro. It's really freeing when you don't have to deal with relaxers, straightners, blow dryers, hot combs, sprays, wax, grease, et al. * Hating on the 'fro would be like hating myself, because that's what my natural hair looks like. Ain't nothing pubic or merkin about it. I was Sir Lancelot, I didn't want you to be misled.

The only thing I don't like about it is the way he's clearly sucking his cheeks in - he does that a lot lately and I just think it's very forced looking. With that exception, my man is still one fine lookin' dude

I think Prince looks great at 55 and he would not need his official pics photoshopped because he is a really sexy and good looking man at his age! It is too bad that he does not smile ... and I agree, it surely is because he wants his pics to be "perfect" and wrinkles obviously are not allowed to be seen.

Prince has aged well, and thanks for the comparison pics. I don't think he went crazy with the photoshop. You can clearly see lines on his forehead. 25 year old celebrities use Photoshop, to even out their skin tones and more. Not a big deal to me.
Prince looks a million times better than most in his age range. Also, many performers who were around at his peak have gained weight, or look older than Prince does. Prince does not look bloated with three chins, or run down from rehab and jails stints. Others have gone too far with plastic surgery. P is in shape, and his body looks good in his clothes. There are celebrities even younger than him who look worse off, and have for quite a while. He still has a strong jawline, prominent cheekbones and clear eyes. Prince looks great.

I hate when they used the select tool and run a gaussian blur in photshop. Human skin has a texture that get lost in the blur filter. They should select the area, use the content aware option in the fill bucket. Then use the rubber stamp tool or the healing brush which can grab the adjacent texture and gently blend in the section with the surrounding area. It takes more time but the results will be alot better.

Everybody retouches! I've worked with several professional photographers and even kids as young as Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber will get retouched. This wasn't professionally done, but it isn't jarring and works fine for what it is - a Twitter photo.

I wish he'd ditch the Botox and make up, and dig out the jeans and denim jacket he wore for MTV Awards 87. If you're gonna crank a guitar up let's look the part. don't play me...i'm over 30 and i DO smoke weed....

I like the look in his beautiful eyes.
And I prefer a photo of a wrinkled skin, bad hair day with shiny, lively eyes with a happy look on his face, above a photo of a boring, fake, overconscious empty look.
Where is the guitar??? 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

This.
Besides, I respect Prince for not always trying to "look as attractive as possible" in the sense that he'd want to conform to contemporary ideals of what an attractive male looks like. The contemporary ideals for attractiveness bother me a bit because it's all about trying to make everyone look the same.

He's in a better shape than I am. And 17 years older than I am.
So, yes, he really looks great. 99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Look at these photos - let's appreciate that his nose is the same shape, his chin is the same shape, his eyebrows and ears are in the same place, and his skin tone is pretty much the same. All he's done is makeup, different hairdo, and some photoshop (which every celebrity does for official photos)! That's fabulous! http://library.constantco...en+Packet. PDFG3000 said:
