My understanding is that Plectrum Electum is actually going to be the soundtrack to the long awaited film "The Dawn".

This tracklist is nonsense. 3rdEyeGirl is a rock band consisting of Donna, Hannah and Ida, not a solo Prince electrofunk project. The only confirmed 3EG songs so far are Plectrum Electrum, Live Out Loud and FixUrLifeUp. Though being credited to Prince, Screwdriver would be a logical candidate for that album, though, since it's rock and features the entire 3EG line-up.

What? Remember a lot of "Prince and the Revolution" songs were just Prince. The first two Time albums were all Prince with Morris overdubbing the lead vocals. Vanity 6 was the same. I would just assume that songs on the 3rdEyegirl website just might be songs Prince considers 3rdEyeGirl songs. Even if it's just Prince, they influenced those songs and please stop arguing with me.

I don't feel like rock 'n roll love affair, screw driver or live out loud fit in with the other tracks. I love the acoustic of That Girl Thang and I hope that has a video... as well as BCW & Aint Gonna Miss U. Prince could always add more to That Girl Thang but I like the raw feel to it.

No one's arguing with you, but you're not paying attention. We know Prince has been recording with the girls, and Dr. Funk has said that the album will be a 3rd Eye Girl record. Half of the tracks you mention are solo (or nearly ) recordings that don't fit stylistically at all. A much more reasonable assumption is that the album is going to much more along the lines of "FIXURLIFEUP" and "LOL", along with stuff like "Let's Go Crazy Reloaded", "Plectrum Electrum", "BoomStratus", etc. [Edited 6/27/13 20:35pm]

That's some good points you made, but you're assuming that while he's been on the

road doing live shows, making TV appearances, accepting awards, making videos, recording

the songs on the 3EG website that he's secrecretly been making a great album with the girls while

no one is watching. I wish so much that were true, but I don't think it's the case. I hope I'm wrong, but nowadays his best songs are his old songs with a fresh coat of paint.

This is what I did and have been enjoying the heck out it. I don't have breakdown...totally missed my radar and want it badly. I really like all the tracks and that is something I have not been able to say in awhile. That Girl Thing is the grower of the bunch. Can't seem to get enough of that one lately. I also bookend the original RnR Love Affair (I know I'm in the minority but I LOVE that track) at the beginning and the remix as the last track.
