I actually love the 2011(?) version. It's the closest he's gotten to his roots since 3121. It pops and bounces and rolls enough that I can forgive the Andy rap and it sounds great on a mixtape when directly followed by Lolita. Das Computer is being a dick, but I'm interested to hear the new version.

Love the addition of the horns. Definitely funks up the track. Hotness!!!

odd they sent me the link to email when I ordered "Ain't gonna miss u" but nothing for "extralovable" but I was able to download first time when I purchased by clicking on download file. my internet is like 90mbps and download without problem. feel sad though for anyone with slower net. these are monster files, great for sound quality but monsters to dl if u have slower net.

I ordered "Ain't Gonna Miss U" when it was first uploaded 9 days ago and just got the email with the link to download it last night. I was able to download it using the links after I ordered it anyway, but I thought that was interesting that it took soooooo long for the email to be sent.

Yeah, I ordered both Aint Gonna & Extraloveable Reloaded the day each became available. I got the email for extralove last night then the email for Ain't Gonna this morning...

luckily I know my password and didn't have to wait.

I guess my "fault" was that I didn't check out the "3rd Eye Girl" webpage where I landed after having paid for the two tracks by Paypal. If I would have scrolled down I would have found the download links y'all are talking about, but I didn't: I clicked the page close and waited for the email with the download links that never came.

Yesterday 3rd Eye Girl customer service even resent the download links to another email address of mine, but still no succes! This is getting more and more frustrating, especially now that I've read that some people receive their download links days/weeks later than they had ordered the tracks. There must be something wrong with 3rd Eye Girls' email server, I guess...

now THIS is more like it. At last a 'keeper', O.K. it's a very old track BUT love the fresh version and the horns have made a huge difference to the quality. This is both album and single worthy...and I've not said that in a loooooong while! Great job P & the team!

This song is good news because it shows him lovingly refurbishing an unreleased classic, when 10 years ago his attitude was almost that the lot could rot slowly in the Vault. I wouldn't want him to rerecord most of his classic unreleased tracks -- in some cases, it would be downright sacrilegious. This one works because the original was already sounding like an old VHS tape when it started circulating widely. The first reload was solid, this one seems like the definitive recording -- the horns for once emphasize the crisp and angular arrangement while bringing extra warmth -- a perfect showcase for his funky ways in 2013.

I like it very much . Good remix. Hope we'll c more from this P soon.

I completely agree with you here! This is how his funk music should sound these days. This is a releaseworthy album track, possibly a single even.

ok, so i did sign up for 3rd Eye Girl website but forgot my password after

the very first purchase, or at least i can't log in with what i thought i used

as a password.

but, no problem, i just ordered without an account and everything always

went fine. download links were either mailed to me direct or they would

already appear once you were diverted back after paypal clearance and

the links would be on the screen, just below the track names.

however, not this time

so, no biggie. i just figured it was a glitch and ordered again, just to put

in some extra info i also purchased the track LOL which i didn't bother to

get first time round.

same end result. no links on screen, or anywhere else and no email. so

then i though, let's wait a day or 2. but nothing happened.

Ok, can I just say this track is my fave so far this year?!? HOT song! I was never a big fan of the original...the last one was an improvement, but I hated that rap. THIS is by far the best imo. Awesome.

I recently did a compilation of his recent tracks and I have to say its making one heck of an album. I will post the config later but it flows very well...this track is the highlight fo sho.

There's a good reason 3rdeyegirl.com doesn't add functionality to preview new songs. Most of us wouldn't purchase the music if we could listen to a snippet first.

I like Bruno Mars but making one track that makes people reference Prince (in any fashion) doesn't raise the bar for Prince. When dudes start making entire albums that sound like what Prince should/could/can do then we'll talk.

It does suck though, having to wait longer than two hours to receive your paid download. Hope you have it by now...
