ok, so i'm watching the "backstage" and the male interviewer just compared bieber to Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and "the Greats", the female just said bieber's the new generation Michael Jackson -- R U Kidding me? Join the crowd. I haven't seen many musicians during this show at all. It seems like it's just a salute to electronica-pop-club music. It seems like a lazy show or maybe they didn't have enough money to pay some real musicians. There hasn't really been any bands, not even rock or country bands, which is unusual for an award show like this, because they have either or even if you're not a fan of that type of music.

It really displays a state of the music industry, which begs the question..."Where is the talent? The hard work many of the older musicians had to put into their work to get where they had to?" Music industry is in a sad state right now. Anyone seeking a career in the music business, really better think real hard about that, and have a serious 'Plan B'.
