He did LGC and edited version of Fixurlifeup.

For those who missed it:
A general intro by eryka badhu and janelle monae that was a lot like Alicia keys rrhof speech. Eryka even called him a freedom fighter at one point lol. Then prince in a black jacket over a green outfit and 3rd eye girl launched into the slow version of let's go crazy until after the first chorus and then for about a minute straight they launched into a big guitar and bass monster jam which I think was between songs which ended with Ida and some electric distorted bass. I also got to add there was fireballs rising up behind them and plenty of smoke. Then they went into fixurlifeup which had some cheesy YouTube looking lyric screen behind them and on the London you're sure to be toast part, they showed London images intermingled with someone buttering toast. And then on this very edited version of the song they jumped to the spoken word portion of fixur and when he got to the part where he usually says just do what you are good at he said just do what you love despite of the different lyrics behind him. Also at some point he shouted out, are you ready to live out loud? It then went back into lets go crazy where he pretty much tore the guitar up featuring at times his leading guitar lady. It ended with the lgc guitar solo and a fist pump in the air. Then without an expected award segment, it went straight to Tracy Morgan telling America goodnight. Great performance. The new song came off a little iffy, but that happens. Donna's solo seemed waaaay off somehow

Really? I thought she saved the performance and was the highlight with the bass player. I didnt really care for the performance that much but I did think Donna kind of saved it and brought some lfe to it. Prince needs to play guitar more. He just kind of teased us. | |
