[UPDATED] NEW Prince song FIXURLIFEUP by Prince ( 3rd Eye Girl ) on iTunes May 16th

Here is the official iTunes artwork for "FIXURLIFEUP" by PRINCE & 3rdEYEGIRL, which will be available sometime soon on iTunes.

Notice that 3RDEYEGIRL is mentioned first in the artwork? Hopefully, that will be explained when it is released on iTunes, if all goes according to plans.

Expect a higher quality version of the song than what is circulating from what CBC radio premiered on Friday.

Also, it has come to our attention that Twitter has verified an account that is not run by PRINCE or authorized by PRINCE. An account was created (@PRINCE_NPG) around the Welcome 2 Australia run to delete all other fake PRINCE Twitter accounts, but what Twitter was asking for at the time was too much.

For right now, we urge you to only follow 3rdEYEGIRL on Twitter. Although the account is not verified, we hope that will change to make sure this does not happen again.

We are hoping that this matter gets taken care of by Twitter swiftly and promptly and we thank them for their efforts. It would help if @DRFUNKENBERRY was verified as well but that is another story.

For now, enjoy the artwork and again, it should be available on iTunes April 15th.- DocFB

Why is he so reserved? No bark, no bite. P's been playing it safe since Diamonds & Pearls, with the exception of the one solitary gem now and then (The Work Pt. 1, Black Sweat, PFUnk, Guitar, Dreamer, etc.) Where's the ambition? The libido? I know he's 52, but everything he's done in recent years sounds like it was recorded in his sleep. This song, was flatter than a copy of 20Ten that's been run over repeatedly with a steam roller. He seems to have no passion for making records. I know he'll never do another Purple Rain or Lovesexy, but he can do better than THIS. We know he can still jam, we've all seen him live. Why can't he play like that on record?

The internet is over. iTunes won't pay Prince up front, so he won't sell stuff on them.
Prince also doesn't record music anymore. He's taking a break until the music

industry fixes its problems, pays him more money, and stops recording his songs.


All this talk about new music just makes no sense to me.

You obviously don't know Prince was born in 1958.

If Prince wrote the lyrics to this new song he seems to have also lost his passion for writing.

I'm enjoying this 3rd eye era, maybe i'm alone but yeah, Plectrum Electrum, BoomStratus, Let's Go Crazy (Rehearsal), The Dakota V & VI boots, It's a decent era, far better than that plastic sounding 20Ten crap anyway.

Prince has his faults, infact i think he's a tool in a lot of ways, but he's not put a foot wrong this year musically.

You jaded fans may have to consider he's just not amongst your favourite artists anymore, same people, same complaints, all the time with every new song. He'll never meet your expectations ever again.

RnR and Screwdriver are 2 of the better pieces of worked-up cover art that he's put out since he went independent in '96, in that they actually look like the cover to something.
