Has he played anywhere in Africa? For somebody who seems to believe in black pride (at least sometimes), he sure has shunned the continent.

Has there been any concerts in there? I heard the owners saying it would be great for concerts, but that is the story being told at every sports arenea being build.

Compare the venue sizes.

Ahoy he has played a few times, ziggo he hasn't but is not yet classic...

So what will he do? Quick money is ziggo.

Work out? Ahoy!

Ziggo is attractive as a new venue to try (same venue siza as Ahoy).

And to be honest, the acoustics in the Ziggo Dome are better then Ahoy's (Sting, Jason Mraz, Muse (19-12)).

But the biggest point will be that playing in Amsterdam sounds more appealing for a tour schedule then Rotterdam for most artist.

Obvious the concert promotor indeed has a preference for the new built Ziggodome.

Isn't the Ziggo dome bigger than ahoy?

I see 17.000 mentioned.

This would generate a bigger heap of cash per night for mr Prince but a tad less intimacy.

Amsterdam as a city is overhyped. The city has destroyed attractiveness for visitors due to the outrageous parking fees.

I do hope a lot has changed since 2007 when I was at the Arena for George Michael. The atmosphere around there (HMH et al) was not so appealing to me.

Ahoy is also just a lump of concrete but has a bit more going on. smile

15.000 vs. 17.000, that's a difference I have to admit. So more money indeed.

On the other side could a multiple night even in Rotterdam be more appealing.

Playing 3x15.000 of 2x17.000 people.

Amsterdam is horrible by car indeed. But the parking around the Ziggodome is good smile, and most tourist don't come their by car.

If traveling from the south (as I do), using the Public Transport from Breukelen or Abcoude is a good advice. No Parking fee and 15minutes by train smile

Rotterdam Ahoy has quit some history, but I'm very impressed by the Ziggodome as venue biggrin.
