Prince concert filmed by Malik Bendjelloul Malik Bendjelloul, the music documentary maker, currently has a new film out called Searching for Sugar Man about folk singer Sixto Rodriguez. In a lot of the publicity it's mentioned that he filmed a Prince concert last year. OK, so it could be one of those projects that prince will keep languishing under wraps for years, but I wondered whether anyone had any further details. I guess the b00tl3g will be out before the artist decides to release it, whatever it is. See the Montreux fiasco. Both the communication around and during the concerts as well as the release of the recordings.
Oh, and BTW, which concert would this be? A real uncut show of not too many hits? Sounds too good to be true anyways. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry. | |

It is quite certain indeed! He won't release it. Really. Count the official live concert releases on VHS/LD/DVD/etc. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry. | |
