Seriously, Prince doesn't really know how to choose talent, so I'm not sure it would be a great idea. I mean, after the press attention and whatnot, these folks normally release albums as part of the deal, no?

The world does not want to hear albums by these ladies, and it's been proven over and over again through critical reviews and fan reaction.

You people seem to forget that he's on hiatus. He just finished a tour down under. Prince can't be doing something ALL the time just because he released an album every year in the 70's, 80's, and 90's.

Yes, but Prince could do both.

Just like JLo. Her talentless ass as a singer got resurrected when she started working as a AI judge, and it helped with sales of her new album.

Before her in the show I watched AI in a very rare occasions, but when JLo got hired I started to watch it just because of her sexy looks and her fashion style.

I still think that it would be great for Prince if he got hired as AI judge. The only one thing AI producers have to make sure is, that the other 2 judges won't be tall.

Prince have charisma, talent and unique fashion style, that will bring lots of ratings to AI and many millions to Prince's pocket without doing anything.

And then he can release an album and make even more money.

I can't think of ANYBODY but the most airheaded and devout "fams" who are eagerly awaiting a forthcoming Andy Allo album.

Had I found out that he was working closely with Kate Bush or Van Hunt, I'd be whistling a different tune.

Prince sort of treats his talentless female proteges like wardrobes--they fit a certain style or mood that he's presenting for a very speciic and limited time period, but they aren't meant to last past a season.

He has had a very successful career....tons of hit records...many many successful tours...he is an icon and legend in the music industry...he has nothing else to prove...his careere is fine. Be content.

The only thing American Idol will do to help the judge's career is have your music video shown or let you perform as a musical guest. They did that for J-Lo with that "On The Floor" song.
