Prince Speaks Through His Music In
Upcoming Rehearsal Jam | Drfunkenberry.com

Man! If you thought that "Dance Electric" PRINCE and the NPG rehearsal jam was dope.....JUST WAIT!!!!

Our ears have been blown by something just sent to us. We cannot wait to share it with you. It is hot, funky, dirty, and will leave you in puddle of sweat.

It shows he has been paying attention to your requests on what to play. Wow! Straight hotness. woot!

BTW, that "Dance Electric" REHEARSAL JAM has over 2,500 likes and almost 500 comments, making it one of our most commented stories in the site's short existence! Thank you PRINCE for allowing us to share it here first!!!

Terry Lewis of The Original 7ven aka The Time got the 1st copy of this rehearsal jam after inquiring if PRINCE needed an opening act for Australia.

Terry got his answer through song. P always speaks through music. Its the language all of us understand.

What was the message? Hear it loud and clear next week on DRFUNKENBERRY.COM!!!!!

It's going to be so worth it!-DocFB

Now I just can't wait till next week nutty

The good news is...you don't have to! wink

Check out http://www.drfunkenberry....isten-now/ to hear the latest rehearsal track and http://prince.org/msg/7/379941 to see the discussion about it (I suggest you do it in that order - I did it in the reverse order and regretted it!)

I like Prince, but that shit was in poor taste. Even if the music itself is good, his response was sleazy.

Oh, sorry about that Pole!

No problem - I gave him a call this afternoon and explained that there'd been a bit of confusion with the Doc's posts and could he please organise another rehearsal jam for next week.

He told me that in theses Days of Wild he might be able to shake Loose another recording, so stay tuned! wink

(and before anyone reads too much into that, I'm taking a reasonably educated guess based on the clues we've been given thus far - and if that doesn't clarify things, then...no you can't have his number razz)

Exactly. That was completely ridiculous, unless Prince talked to O7 and fDeluxe before that jam was put online.

^ Prince has always carried the 'elusive', 'enigma' personas; nothing new there. Maybe if he chose to tell 'his side' of things we as a fan base would be less unforgiving -

I mean, just how much contact and support did any previous associates give Prince from 'the wilderness days up til now'? ( You know, when he was going through personal shit ...... and prior to his renewed success with stadium greatest hits sell outs)

Imo it's too easy to paint Prince as the fall guy here. Plenty of associates have been very vocal with their swipes at Prince the last few years in a vain hope to ridicule and push Prince into giving in and falling for 'fan pressure' - Prince has chosen not to publicise his responses to all the barbed comments and inuendos. He maintains that he speaks through his music. Mutiny: 'you stayed away too long' says plenty if we are to take this literally.

Speaks volumes that despite the vocal bitterness from some they still want Prince to give support for their financial gain. We could argue that he needn't bother

confused

Just as long as it's not a 10-minute version of "Had U".

Hmm. Pretty good points about the associates, although Jimmy Jam for one is very positive about Prince. I'd prefer to hear Prince TALK about these differences of opinion and then give us some music without these bitter undercurrents.

I think we all can agree on this point.
