I like it too first thing I thought of was the Prince in Sleeping Beauty. I hadn't watched that for decades and then saw this classic recently while babysitting. Prince looks like he's about to protect something or someone with that mighty sword. Sweet

Couple of thoughts on this pic/ imagery:

1) bottom right of the shot (where P's hip is: a brown 'overlay'; or is ihe wearing a brown cape that's out of shot...? Or maybe the original artwork is ' gatefold' a la 'Parade' as the brown area could be the upside down mirrored image of Allo's torso/ the start of a second image out of shot i.e. cropped

2) Artwork appears to be very much similar in style to Andy Allo/ Superconductor (black and white, dramatic, sparse)

-I'd hazard a guess that the next project is a 'double gatefold' album with both projects packaged as one, and that both P and Allo body shots appear 'conjoined' in the art work (i.e. P is 'the superconductor' and that P's 'conducting'/ bandleading is the theme for both projects)

way too much time on my hands.......

Here we go again.

Terrible picture. I don´t like the sword. Then again, I´ve always disliked the gun mike, too.

He looks more buff than usual but that thing that he´s wearing doesn´t really compliment his arms.

I don´t mind the natural looking hair but that pose is just ridiculous.

Then again, he´s always had phases when he looked a bit off.

It'd be interesting to see the entire image. It's like they put some kind of weird clipping path on it.

As someone who became natural a few months ago I'm thrilled Prince is finally giving up the relaxer but IF AND ONLY IF THIS PIC IS REAL...I would have preferred him to wear it short because that fro does not suit him and the short hair Christropher Tracy look always made him look younger to me. it also looks like he's growing it out, meaning the relaxed parts are still on the top and he didn't do the big chop like I did. All my sistas know what I'm talking about

Y'all tripping. All he needs is some activator to make the hair look saucy and he'll be fine.

Other than that, the man looks healthy. No his arms aren't as defined as they were when he was younger, but I like his beefy look. Anything beats when he was looking extremely thin and gaunt in between the , Come and Gold eras.
